"The Food is good and I'll be back. I do love an app, but 3 of the 5 times I've ordered with the app, they haven't seen that I ordered through the app. So, I have to wait for them to make it. So annoying! the whole purpose of an app is to not talk to people and get on with my day/night. Other than that, a good shop and everyone should eat there."

"Great food. I was back in a few years and eating was normal. went a few months ago with a buddy and was pleasantly surprised. as a chef, I can be very critical myself and can be a very demanding customer. I had a scotchfilet and my friend had a parmy, the meals were very generous in view of the very reasonable price. the steak was perfection, well seasoned and well cooked chips. the chef rad was very courteous and friendly, will be safe again."

"Food and excellent service. possibly the best meal in hobart (or everywhere) I had in years. great selection, exceptional quality and so a beautiful atmosphere. only critique is that one of us ordered a "feed me' menu, the other one seafood plate without realizing us, it delivered a feed for two people on a single teller (so we thought it was for one) as well as the seafood plate. when we were afraid, we were told that it was "per number of people at the table" not complaining about the quantity or quality of the food, but the menu and the staff were not clear and not understood what we were trying to order. made for a very expensive meal. that said I would go back at any time and highly recommend, as it is really a big place (will only be attentive to the overview of the menus in future.)"

"Great value for money in an historic building directly across from the port. You are steps away from the Salamanca Square, piers and great restaurants. Our C$360 bill for 2 nights included parking and a full on breakfast for 2 people for two days. The rooms are clean and a good size. Easy access to the highway and sites around Hobart. In terms of accessibility, you need to request upon booking a room on the first or second floor given there are a lot of steps to the rooms and the third floor is only accessible via stairs."

"A family holiday to such a lovely destination of our beautiful country ending with a bad note left by this business and their employees. Traveling with a baby can be daunting enough and as new parents my wife and I try to be as prepared...as possible. When we arrived at the airport to depart to find our flight delayed due to inbound delays we ran out of the supply of hot water for formula to bottle feeding our daughter. Upon asking the Cafe staff for plain hot water to go into our daughters bottle, we were refused unless we paid the cafe $2. Now in the grand scheme of things $2 is not much and we did pay, though I found myself and the other customers who surely heard the request disgusted with the un-Australian practice of this cafe and their staff. We are a multicultural family who are always proud to say we are Australian and have Australian values of helping our fellow Australians and others when in a pickle. I would implore any traveler if in need for any assistance while in this airport to steer clear of this cafe as a simple request for plain hot tap water is charged at $2, I would hate to see what else they charge for."

"What a delight it is to dine in this hotel. A major plus is the fact that it does not have poker machines. It is also very family friendly. The service is excellent, food is great and the fire adds atmosphere which all adds to...an enjoyable night out."

"Went in there for dinner last night and ordered an entree to share and a main each. Entree Calamari was pretty good but the mains were unedible. The parmi was dry and overloaded with cheese which made the crumb wet and taste like goo.My partners chicken wrapped in prosciutto was dry and salty. The corn risotto was too sweet which didn't make sense. Also have no idea what the deal is with paying upfront before having your meal. Will never return to this terrible place"
