"Dropped in to Mt Barker for a meal on the way to Adelaide from Melbourne... we were pretty hungry after the boat trip across the Straight and driving, so we tough we detour and get some good ol' country tucker.the service was good, but the meal not for human consumption. We should have realised from the franchise-look of the menu, but we were too weary to do the maths... anyway, I though I'd go safe with a pub standard meal and go for the parmigiana. you know those "twice-cooked" dishes?.. this Parmy looked like it had been twice cooked over and over again. I could have re-soled my shoe with it, and my partner's creamy lemon sauce, that accompanied her dry chook... had either coagulated sauce crusty skin on it or unmelted cheese at the bottom of the pot.all in all, I felt worse after the meal than before... A real shame and a waste of time and money."

"As a local, I come here pretty regularly for the standard fish or chicken and chips. Chips are usually pretty good, as is the chicken. The service and wait time however are terrible, and they are consistent with this. I've never seen so many people working at chicken shop before, whilst also atrociously inefficient. I often call ahead because I know what the deal will be, but even then, the wait times are way off what I'm often told over the phone. Its really disappointing as this place could seriously up their efficiency and deliver an excellent service, likely with a good manager or team leader to organise everyone."

"Staff friendly, service is lacking 'bit slow ' when clearing your table. staff seem to be just walking around, no staff structure to who does what. pizza was not that nice seem to be made on a pre purchase pizza from the shops eg mccain 's frozen pizza. gnocchi carbonara was a delight. overall was a nice night and dinner"
