"My partner and I arrived without a booking for a Friday Lunch, after checking in via QR code for covid19, we were warmly welcomed and seated quickly. entrees, mains desserts were cooked to perfection and plated beautifully, we asked for recommendations for wines to match our meals and were more then happy with the suggestions, with each wine complimenting our chosen dish. Entrees were the Pork Belly Cheese Souffle which was decadent yet light and fluffy and full of flavour. Our mains were the Cowra Lamb Rumb Chicken Surpreme which were both cooked to perfection, And Dessert we had the Banofee Pavalova Milk Chocolate Mousse w/ Orange Hazelnut Semifreddo as a chef myself, I can gladly recommend the Quarry to any Food Wine lover living or visiting the Central West Region, providing a quality and service, rarely found anywhere, let alone in a country town such as Cowra."

"I have eaten Chinese food on 3 continents including China. I’ve been to the most expensive places with dignitaries in Beijing, Shanghai Harbin. I was given home made Chinese in a little tiny town in hailar….point is I have the best of the “best” out there. The lovely ppl who own, cook run this place produce the best Chinese food I’ve ever had! They deliver it is exactly the same. You eat in …and it’s just as good. They don’t skimp on flavour or ingredients. They, just like their food a lovely, humble extremely welcoming. If you’re staying in cowra want to eat in…don’t miss out on this experience. Cowra is incredibly lucky to have such a high standard of Chinese Food."

"The food was plentiful but not overly flavoursome. We ordered some house - supposedly bottled- wine by the glass but could not drink it as it tasted like bad cask wine It was typical country Chinese style food"

"Visited Sunday for Lunch at approx 12.30. The place was not overly busy with many tables already eating. It took almost 10 mins to order. We were third in line waiting to order. Upon placing the order we were advised that may be a small wait. I suggest 20mins with a rely of" there a quite a few dockets waiting, maybe a little more" It took over 40mins for 1 x toasted cheese and tomato sandwich and 1 x plain hamburger. Upon taking the first bite of my hamburger, I noticed that the meat was only partially cook - still uncooked in the centre - I returned it to be recooked. Alsost 12 mins later a fresh Hamburger arrived - no apology just "here's your burger" (or similar comment)Was I impressed - NOT AT ALL - Would I go back - PROBABLY NOT - Would Maccas have been a better choice - MORE THAN LIKELY - Will we oragnise a trip again with planned stops in Cowra - PROBABLY NOT - Will we avoid Cowra - PROBABLY.This place was relatively busy however, I would not have thought it was overly rushed of their feet. The main problem is more than likely poor organisation. LIFT YOUR GAME ROSE GARDEN COFFEE HOUSE. DONT STOP IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A QUICK FEED."

"The worst Chinese food I have ever had in my life and I have eaten a lot of it.For the most part it was clearly refried at least twice, it was dry and tasteless.The honey pepper steak we ordered was tough , dry and tasteless and lacked any seasoning at all. I dare say it was only fried batter as I was unable to find anything that resembled steak. All in all this food was not restaurant quality by any shape or form. Also to add insult to injury they attempted to overcharge me."

"Friendly, efficient service, waitress had great knowledge about the locally sourced produce used in the meals and both the local and non local wines. The meals were exceptional and very generous. Best risotto I've ever eaten. Thank you for a wonderful meal and a great dining experience."
