"I have to say my wife thought that the dining room for her, she loved it. cannot mistake the menu or the excellent fine culinary experience. special mention for the chocolate dessert that was excellent. there were set menus and the costs...was suitable for the quality of food and service. great presentation. a Re-Visit."

"Very disappointed, but I should have noticed the reviews a bit more. Children under 5 years old in the restaurant after 10 a.m. and in the bar after 11 a.m. pamper my evening. If children are to be allowed, they should be limited to an early meal and restaurant until 9 and not allowed in the bar area. The food was nice. Salmon in the amuse book was too dry and cured and the cousin ok. I am not quite sure whether the white peach works with Bland crab (there was no taste in the crab at all) and the gel tasted again by little. The fish was cooked well, but it is not a fish I expect in a fine dining place, and the basil and cheese sauce tasted like pizza toppings! The chicken was moist and the velout was excellent. Strawberry sorbet; excellent aroma and texture, but little different on the plate tasted of everything and overall a little too sweet with white chocolate. Bar staff friendly and knowledgeable and a large selection, but stupid expensive."

"We were able to enjoy lunch within the castle. The service is impeccable and the dishes are incredible. The flavors are refined, the dishes well presented and the quantity is ideal. The lunch menu prices are clearly affordable and delicious. The food/wine pairing recommendations are perfect. As for the place, it is royal. A pleasure to stroll through the corridors of the castle. I recommend. Service: 5"

"Since we were going to a wedding in Sancerre, we were looking for the perfect place to stay. We found La Chanceliere in Saint-Satur and ended up booking all rooms for the guests. One evening we arranged, with the owners, Nicole and her husband, to prepare a dinner for us and it was absolutely fantastic with Sancerre wine, cheeses, cakes etc. We had a long table on their beautiful terrace and it couldn't have been better. You can look forward to the breakfast, which is absolutely perfect with fresh cut berries in your fruit salad, newly baked baguettes and croissants, ham and cheese, great coffee and tea. It was so good that we stayed for at least for 2 hours every morning. All the rooms have a name and are decorated with a romantic french touch - We lived in a sweet little room facing the garden and the bathroom had both a shower and a nice bathtub.I would very highly recommend La Chanceliere as the perfect get-a-away if you ever want to go visit France, and Nicole and her husband are the sweeetest hosts ever :)"

"Après s'être détendu au SPA du château, nous avons déjeuner au restaurant. Le cadre y est idyllique, le château est magnifique, la salle de restauration et le bar où nous avons pris le café le sont tout autant. À l'étage la rotonde est splendide. Les entrées étaient aussi belles que délicieuses, la viande et le poisson étaient cuits à la perfection. Seul petit bémol le carpaccio de fruits rouges, le second dessert la salade de fraises/ melon était très bonne. Le service était à la hauteur du lieu, sans faute. En plus le menu est vraiment très abordable pour déguster de la cuisine française raffinée dans d'un château. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir."
