"My family and I have gone there a few times now the food is really good and the prices are decent. But I was turned off when we went there today for my son's birthday. We were a large group and after we all ate I asked the waitress for some small plates so we could have a slice of the cake I brought. The waitress then tells me that there's a charge for using their plates!! I was like what?? How much?? And she says $1 per person!! I was blown away, I never heard of a restaurant charging you for using their plates. She said she'd ask the cook to see if he'll waive the fee for me. I guess it was my lucky day, they waived the fee. Only to be disappointed again when I found out that apparently the free refills for their soft drinks only applies to the 1st refill after that your charged per refill. Would've been nice if it said that on their menu!! Not sure if we'll go back there again which is too bad because we did like their food and atmosphere just not their hidden costs and fees."

"Takeout only, but very good: I have stopped ordering Chinese takeout from anywhere else in Ottawa. Food is consistently excellent in quality, with a wide range of dishes, at decent value. It is often very busy, so build a little extra preparation time into your plans. Staff are friendly. If you live in Nepean you should try it - you will not be disappointed."

"Garlic spare ribs tasted like rubber, chicken balls doesn't seem like it's made out of real chicken...rice was decent if you don't mind it being soggy"

"This is our second order at St. Patrick Day and again we were not disappointed. There is Cantonese Chow mien the best, crispy beef fantastic and her egg rolls sooo good!! I would highly recommend it!"

"I ordered at 17.40. nothing hard to do. they said 45 minutes delivery. I said, okay. 6:55 I'll call and tell them it's over 1 hour now. Answer: we only have one driver. why to the teufel you would say 45 minutes delivery time. they never showed up. low life owners and employees."

"Remember folks, a BIG portion isn't always a good thing! Some idiots will praise them for giving large chicken balls and large portions of side dishes but if chicken contain 80 batter and a small piece of chicken, is it really still great??? I don't think so! I ordered General Tsoa's chicken twice and both times it was paper thin chicken pieces and 95% tempura! I had called in the second time and being that her English was so pure her last few words was Thank you for calling, bye bey like WTH! I think way too many people mistaken quality over quantity as this place will load you up with flour and tempura batter, alot of rice but what many seem to forget that these dishes should have alot of proteins to go along with these dishes! Most of these places are all in genral just as bad but out of the dozens of Chinese take out places I've eaten from as for flavor Asia Garden's gotta be one of the better ones out there! I sometimes do drive to that place to pick it up because I've moved out of their delivery zone but when I'm craving Chinese I'll spend that extra 20-25 minutes and drive to those guys. There's not one good Chinese take out on Greenbank Baseline Rd and the only decent place is Mandarin where the quality surpasses all of these guys because they take pride in what they make and serve to their eat in buffet clients, it's worth the $25 per/plate!"
