"A very good experience with my family. ambiente was very good, decor was quiet and cozy, service was excellent, eating was really good. beautiful choice of cutlery for serving and on the table. I ordered Malaysian cuisine and must say that this is the nearest Malaysian cuisine I have tasted in Australia so far. not many Malaysian dishes. each dish was unique with taste and texture and presentation. very large and sufficient. all in my family enjoyed it. the price was another stubborn. for the feeling, quality of food, experience and service it was definitiw low. have paid much more for lousy eating and quality elsewhere. I wait to go back and try the other dishes. sure one of my favorites in newcastle. surprised to know about this restaurant from my daughter because they visited a school visit. they need more advertising for people to enjoy the good food."

"Went to Newcastle on a weekend tour and took a detour onto the Grifiths Road for lunch at Broadmeadow shopping centre. Saw this Restaurant by the name of Everest specialising in Nepalese, Indian and Italian. We straightaway walked-in, to order from the Menu on display. I tried Chicken dumplings and my wife ordered Spaghetti Carbonera. The food was served in 10 minutes and it was great in taste and was fresh.Raj and Moona, were excellent in serving us. We were also served Vanilla Pannacotta for the desert, which too was excellent in taste.I am impressed to find a good Nepalese joint with great tasting food in Newcastle. I promised Raj and Moona to visit their small yet good restaurant again on my next visit to Newcastle. "Went for lunch here. Had the fish and chips. The fish was good but the salad was not nice at all and tasted like it was yesterday's. I have eaten here on many occasions and always enjoyed it, I will go back for another try due to the other good dinning experiences I've had here. The service was good and the wait staff are friendly."

"We ordered large spring rolls and they were very salty, and satay beef which was too sweet. There was a nice amount of vegetables. We will not be ordering again from this restaurant as we do not feel it is necessary to add so much...salt and sugar to good food."

"Anyone who is visiting Newcastle should stay away from this place. The service is pathetic and food very average. The schnuggets from the kids menu is a complete rip off. There was just 3 very small pcs of what they call 'schnuggets' , to us it looked like they just trimmed 3 corners of someone else's schnitzel and put in the box. The chips were soggy and no one from the staff were interested in any feedback. Will never visit this place again."

"First I'd like to make a comment in regards to the 2 young girls on the counter who you see on arrival. They have no customer service skills, they did not smile nor were they friendly. We watched them whilst eating our dinner and noticed...they were the same with everyone that came in, they didn't even speak with each other and looked bored. The meal came out quick, we had the lamb cutlets they were incredible and large. We stayed in the hotel overnight and had breakfast the next day which was so good, no complaints."
