"It was a good small cafe in Ambleside with very friendly staff. Place has an amazing modern decor and has very good vibes. Offer both inside and outside sitting with very warm staff. They even enquire if we need parking disc for our car. Service was quick and food was overall very tasty. 4 stars as we felt it was expensive. Rest all good."

"Draft GF Beer on tap (Tirrils) staff did not seem particularly educated on GF food. They were able to provide 1 GF dish which was Trout. 1 dessert which was Eton Mess."

"Lovely walk around Bowfell. Quiet paths with nice places for food and drink around. Beautiful part of the lakes that isn’t inundated with crowds. A must for a peaceful hike, lunch or stay."

"Really nice burger with friendly helpful staff. looks quite new than not so many people in. the bark meat is organic and gras fed. Ham, lamb, veg and vegan available. if you did, get the house gravy. if they filled it, I'd drink it. I had the chili burger who was really nice but almost hidden how beautiful the burgerpatty was. also takes away"
