"Excellent fish chips, wonderful folks who served us. No issues with Halal as its fish and the batter is without beer. Had a good conversation with the kind folks at the shop and was surprised with a cup of hot chocolate, on the house! View is superb, location is good (fronting the Ambleside Pier)."

"When they are in dove cottage, I recommend to eat here at lunchtime. my wife had the fish chips that were great. I had one of their originals: with thunfish, mushrooms, crispy speck and roasted Mediterranean vegetables her rake is covered with rodunder, cheddar and goat cheese. an excellent meal after a morning in the dove cottage!"
