"Mandarin Fräulein had an appointment in Bad Kreuznach as it was possible to go to the cinema in the evening and eat something before. The lady was Chinese, and since we were no longer in Mandarin for a long time, and from the past had no bad memories, it was a short hand there. Located directly at Marienwörth Hospital (not to be confused with the Mandarin Garden on the other side of the street!!! Parking is available in the surrounding car parks. So we entered the mandarin without reservation (was also a Wednesday evening . Five more people were present at two tables. In the evening another 7 people should be added. Nothing has changed inside for years. Typical Far Eastern decorations, ornaments, lamps, many red carpet and golden accessories. Here and there orchids and an aquarium with ornamental fish (not suitable for consumption We are greeted by the head of the house and we can choose a free table. Welcome to the window. We'll take a seat and get the cards. They let us choose. The map has also not changed. This map can be found everywhere in German Chinese restaurants. Only it is not interpreted equally everywhere. The experience has shown that we know about the large parts in such locals, so that the decision is against an appetizer and for only one main dish. They were my three problems again. A court with duck or with duck or rather duck? No, this time it should splash. Since I was always satisfied with the quality of food in the past, I risked something new. I won't tell you anything. After a pleasant waiting period we ordered a yeast wheat (Erdinger, 0.5l 3.50€ and a small water (0.25l 1.70€). The wheat is nicely tempered. Directly after the order, the small oil lamp was ignited on the table and shortly afterwards the warm-up plate was brought and the tealights were ignited in it to keep the empty plates warm there. Everything is always right here. You can set the clock. Nice, too. After the order we got a plum wine, similar to the Ouzo in the Greek. Can, but don't... Then it took something. So time to look around. The floor completely covered with red carpet, the dark brown wooden chairs with the same red tone covered with upholstery, the tables packed in white blankets. Pink paper napkins and cutlery are already covered, such as a menagerie with salt and pepper shaker, soy and chilisauce ready. All this was not used by us tonight. The table In the meantime the way to the toilet, here there was nix to complain, everything you expected. It didn't take long to get back to the table. The rice was served as always in a stainless steel bowl, sufficient for both of us. Fried chicken meat with paprika, mushrooms, sprouts and cashew nuts. Besides paprika there were carrots, onions and garlic. And a healthy portion of chili. A round dish that was delicious and liked to know. I had to spit the last third. The rice was boiled neatly, tasted slightly and was also easy to bite. 4* Crispy Quid (10,50€) Crispy Squid came 13 (my favorite number nicely roasted Squid rings to the table. Apparently cut with Asian pancoal flour and stuffed. Perfect in the structure the rings were not a bit gum-like, very crispy and very fine in taste. The sweet acid sauce that it would have served would not have used it so much, was too expressive for me personally. For this purpose, the stuffing bottle with china cabbage, on which Squid rings were embed, were suitable and delicious. I was happy and would order it again at any time. 4* Well saturated we then paid with the card, we got a decent document and were kindly passed on when we go. There is no Asian cuisine, but what it tastes, its money is worth and you get rich. We like to come back! Conclusion: A Chinese we like to express our trust! We've never fallen in here before. From the choice what you know so, but delicious. Freshly cooked with good, fresh products. 4* The service is Asian, but friendly and attentive. Here you can feel the decades of experience. "Tuesday evening and I sit on the terrace of Schlosshotel Iglhauser in Mattsee near Salzburg, look at the lake and look at how I shape the criticism of Kitt in Bad Kreuznach. She must be good, because I am sure that two of our colleagues have been expecting this for a long time. At the end of the third stage we were in Guldental, the highly praised Hotel and Restaurant Kaiserhof. And I must say that my impression of this House is also very positive. Unfortunately, they closed the restaurant on Wednesday, as the boss told me when booking immediately. On my question how to eat well, various suggestions came to my account by email from Guldental. Among them the kittens recommended in Bad Kreuznach. Information about the restaurant online is difficult in advance. There is really no HP! But entries in different portals and the Bib Gourmant in one of the most famous of these restaurant lists. It was... but I followed my gut feeling and the euphoric recommendation of the Kaiserhof and booked my wife and I a table there. That was done quickly by phone. On the third stage on this Wednesday we went through Bad Kreuznach at noon and looking for a lunch we suddenly stood in front of a small house with a sign above the door: this looked very nice, though very small. I hope my reservation was in the books. And because there is no way to see the map online, here is a photo of the 7th edition. September this year. With this offer we would take the 9 Gang Tapas menu to try as much as possible from the card. We turned around and went to lunch (Critique followed and wandered over the afternoon through endless vineyards and pressing heat to Guldental. A taxi was then quickly ordered for the evening and so we were back in a few minutes from where we had changed in hours. Shortly before 7:00 we entered the kitten and received a very small guest room. A maximum of 20 guests can sit here. The restaurant places extreme requirements for interior design, as besides seats for 20 guests, the counter and other rooms must also be found in a space of 10 x 10 meters. It's very cuddly! We were kindly received by a lady. In the evening it was found that the lady with her partner runs the restaurant completely alone. More than 20 guests don't go. And if as on Wednesday night all tables are occupied, then it will be really stressful for the two. Here is really slow food, you always have to give time for the next walk and the next wine. Outpatient fast foods are not happy here! An aperitif was ordered quickly and we looked into the cards (although we were sure we would order the 9-speed menu. I asked once again, but yes, you wanted to refine those with lavender syrup... Bon! We love Provence and especially the village of Banon in the middle (sometimes try the “Banon de Banon” and so we got a glass served: And that was a good combination! Just try.... Our menu was requested, and we stayed faithful to our plan and ordered the 9-speed tapas menu with wine tasting to a little below 90 EUR. I was very curious, because for 9 courses plus wine it was already quite calculated. A greeting of the kitchen: To this very delicious air-dried wild boar a spund cheese and a fresh goat cheese with honey and walnut. We started in our menu A pickled salmon trout was served. A chili oil, source and stripes of china cabbage. This could be the case with the parmesan mentioned above. Good standing. Next it went with a lukewarm potato cloth soup. Lauwarme potato soup? This isn't going straight towards Gazpacho, but I must confess that tastes good! Especially with crosses and strips of Merguez. That was insane. Gang number three towards Austria. A table top was served. Very slightly marinated with a Vinaigrette and radish. And also pepper. Almost, I almost concrete and the marinated table top I just got from Mrs. Iglhauser's kitchen. But Bad Kreuznach is of course not Austria and therefore it is very delicious! What happened? Lachsforelle came! On the skin fried fillet, served on a risotto with peas and gambas. Perfectly prepared. Glassy fish, crispy skin, al dente rice! In the middle A piece of beef, a fillet, pink in the inner and outer quite slightly browned as it must. Among them a ratatouille. You can't do that. What is it? A lamb came, just a piece of it. Served on a really delicious and interesting supplement. A pale bean and tomato salad. In combination with the delicate lamb a pleasure. Now we needed a break. The kitchen served a raspberry sorbet, which was unfortunately not poured with a champagne! But also so delicious.... And now? The highlight of the evening! There was a plate with a plum, or two halves. In a plum sauce, congratulated with a goat cheese. The plum halves were drawn very briefly in a strongly reduced plum sauce, then congratulated with a goat cheese. This combination was divine! The rocket was quickly removed and didn't bother! The sweet end To the end of a really good and extensive menu (was that still tapas? a parfait of Mirabellen on a cream cucumber and slightly embellished Mirabellen halves. Delicious, but after that no more.... The whole menu went over 4 hours. We didn't get a star kitchen because presentation, ingredients and service didn't fit completely, but we got a very ambitious farm kitchen served that was as delicious as it looks. You need to take time for the food in the kitt and have a companion with which it is fun to bridge some longer breaks between the courses, but then it is really fun to eat in the kitt. I understand the “Bib”. Extremely good PLV is offered here. Just go. And as we are close to the wine, as far as I still get it. I had asked for accompaniment after near wines. "Previously as a warning: This review has overlength! Hiking holidays near the town, quarters in Bad Münster am Stein. We, my wife and I and a friendly couple, have chosen the Hotel Naheschlößchen as a hostel with his restaurant Seasons. Hotel Naheschlößchen with its restaurant Seasons Ambiente The Naheschlößchen is located on the corner of Berliner Straße Rheingrafenstraße in Bad Münster am Stein. Berliner Strasse is a main road, so it can be quite loud in the morning with the rooms located on Berlin street, as our friendly couple reported. My wife and I had done better. Although the street noise also went through to our rooms located on the quiet Rheingrafenstraße, but damper. We had renovated rooms, my wife and I even one with air conditioning – very pleasant at temperatures above thirty degrees as on July 20. Our rooms were refurbished in the course of the renovation, in vintage style with partial Shabby chic look, clean and in the technical equipment (Flatscreen TV, free Wlan on three-star level. The restaurant Seasons, in which we have breakfast, is located in the parterre des Naheschlößchen. A series of light brown tables with padded benches standing on the longitudinal sides, covered in a pergola-like manner, trims the window side and gives the country house style. The other side of the room is similar, a dress for buffets dominates between the table rows. Walls and ceilings fit into wood colour in their light brown tones. Another room that we did not use is connected to this guest room. Because of the summery temperatures, we have eaten on three evenings, on July 19th, 20th and 21st, on the Mediterranean terrace along the window side of the restaurant. Terrace – Hotel Naheschlößchen Rustikale tables with comfortable teakwood tables in brown colours are covered by a wine pergola, which is carried on the street side by a natural stone wall with semicircular openings. We always sat very comfortably on the terrace. However, the ambience could have been upgraded if, in addition to the decorative flowers, tablecloths had also been placed on the rustic wooden tables, whose color partially leaves and the tables had been covered. Cloaks were placed on the table by the service in wooden cutlery boxes. For the ambience we give three and a half stars. The service was operated on the three evenings of three ladies: the boss, a young lady and a middle-aged lady. Friendly they were all three, and it was also asked every time whether everything was right – and after eating whether it tasted. On two evenings we had reserved and found a white plate, labeled in black handwriting with -very welcome Reserved for Huck on our table. At all three evenings all tables were occupied on the terrace, so there were waiting times for food and beverages, but they were in a compatible setting. An evening when my wife and I had ordered a spaghetti dish, we waited for a while. There were only knives and forks in the cutlery box. All in all, the service has earned its rounded four stars. Food and Beverages I tell day by day of the dishes and drinks we eat. July 19: As drinks my wife and I took 0.5 l of 2014's White Burgundy dry 12.5% vol., Weingut Kruger-Rumpf, Münster-Sarmsheim (11.90 € and later one more • 0.2 l of 2013's Grey Burgundy dry 12% vol., Weinhaus Angela Jung, Bad Münster a. St. (3.90 €). The fact that it was – as it were – quality wines was clear. The White Burgundy tasted us better than the Grauburgunder. As an amuse-gueule, my wife, the friendly couple and me were served a poultry chick cream soup in an espresso cup. The chili fraction in the soup was not to deny, it had a beautiful sharpness, for me a chili and knobi jerk a pleasure. My wife also blacked from the capsaicin dose. All fours have tasted the soup very well. A little baguette for soup would have increased the enjoyment. My wife chose lemon, melon, pineapple and vanilla. Four bullets were found in a waffle shaped into a basket. Pineapple, melon and orange pieces were added as fruit. A kind of red-belt sauce – finely spiced – was served separately. A delightful highlight were thin chocolate leaflets made of white chocolate with coloured marble, probably a self-creation from the home-connected production, from which also chocolate selections were offered as dessert. While my wife licked the ice, I was amazed with a • line Aquavit (2.80 € for 2 cl ), which was also well cooled. We've been trying a lot in the middle ounce. We were more than satisfied each time. Well, there were little things that can be improved. But under the line, the food was good. It was tastefully presented. We give the kitchen in a small bottle of four stars. Cleanliness The tables, cutlery, glasses and dishes were perfectly clean. When tables were free, they were wiped and cleaned by the service personnel. The toilets, both with the ladies and gentlemen, were clean. To dry your hands on the toilets, Frottee-Gästetuche was laid out. Here my wife arrived a full container with used Frottee-Gästetuche, which she had seen filled the day before. The fact that on the terrace vine leaves fell from the roofing vines is natural. The hostess also returned occasionally and eliminated the leaves. Overall, we evaluate the cleanliness in the restaurant area with good and give four stars. The price-performance ratio The prices are proportionate to what was offered to service, food and beverages. The Rumpsteak with its approx. Although 200 g is above the usual price level in small towns at €25.90, this is probably due to the special method of preparation in the hay bed, which also showed tastefully. Crafty, the food was well prepared, and good craftsmanship has its price: four stars for the kitchen in the small area.
