"First visit to zaps durham after good experiences in the Newcastle area. nicely furnished with the service area in the first floor. they get a window seat and they're in business. I had a burrito absolutely ram packed with circle, spicy beans, sweet potato chili, guacamole and hot chili sauce. a revolutionary good experience."

"Amin's Spice was recommended when we were staying at The Cottage, Hilltop Stables, and the meal we had delivered was delicious. "I had never tried Lebanese food so was pleasantly surprised by this place. As a vegetarian I found they had a good selection on offer. Love the thin breads and the moussaka was delicious. Wasn’t sold on the Lebanese lager though. Very attentive and friendly staff made for a great experience"

"We ordered the vegan platter which comes with a chapati bread filled with chickpea curry . A waiter came to our table and explained that they had ran out of the curry and would it be alright if we swapped that curry with a Paneer Tikka Masala(V) . My husband said if it 's alright, could we swap for more of the cauliflower instead as that comes with cheese. That was no problem. Our food came out with the paneer tikka masala anyway so we immediately explained that we hadn 't wanted that on account of it being cheese. So she went off and came back saying the chef said it was tofu but had given us extra cauliflower anyway. We were dubious as there was no mention of tofu on the menu. So I tried it and it was the cheesiest tofu I 've ever tasted. They have made such an effort to have loads of vegan options on the menu but I feel it 's all a bit shallow if not upheld by the staff."

"We hooked rather short notice for a party of 10, but they squeezed us in I am so glad they did. The food is amazing! The staff are so friendly and dead chatty. We got 4 starters to share amongst us all plates cleared enjoyed by all, especially the Tia Rose. We all got different mains every single one had no complaints. Absolutely beautiful, ever so tasty flavoursome. Will definitely be back"
