"Although maybe unfair to review a location on a Valentine’s Day experience, this was the first time I have tried this location. We chose Delmar because they were advertising Chilean sea bass and lamb chops as special Valentine’s Day menu items. Like many Detroit area...locations they had a unique drink menu, wines, and a small selection of craft beer. My date had The employee only Manhattan which had hints of cinnamon maybe nutmeg spice, which he did enjoy. As a tequila fan, I tried the Delete this text option. It had chili seasoning and a cucumber slice...I found the taste to be bland, and did not enjoy it. The menu didn’t specify the Valentine entrees included soup OR salad....was looking forward to both for the price $79 for 2. The chowder was good, though my date said it was kinda gritty. I really liked the flavor of the tomato bisque, however, even after asking for it to be warmed up when it arrived at the table, only the bowl felt warm the second time around. The plating was attractive—-brocolini with the sea bass, fresh string beans with the lamb, and fingerling potatoes, including purple and sweet potatoes. Good portions. Both meals had ok flavor but not holy moly-gotta have that again. The final part of the meal was bananas foster...a small desert to split. I have been to other venues in Detroit where ‘coursed meals’ allowed each diner to have their own dessert This was also not noted on the menu. It was ok. Nothing spectacular. May I offer this consolation though. This is a sports bar. The regular menu seemed to have great options and I would be willing to return to try them. Probably wouldn’t venture back into the cocktail menu... Nice location. Loud inside. It was nice not to be crowded, plenty of room between tables. I recommend trying it if you get to Greektown and want a more social place."

"2nd time here and as good as first time.Smaller menu but still loads to pick from ,working my way through the menu before I pick a favourite but so far pizza is very good also great appetizers.Go early to avoid wait times .Since only one Porcino in the city right now it gets full quickly but worth the wait ."

"We were hungry in the late afternoon, having not been able to have lunch, so we stopped in here on the way home. The two staff were friendly and keen to help and offered us samples of the many different soups the restaurant provides. It's a great idea that makes this place just a little different! Of course, there are so many different soups with seldom-tasted flavours that this is a good way to help customers choose. Some of the flavours included: El Grande chili, Frontier 7 bean, Lobster bisque, Macaroni & Cheese, and Over-stuffed Bell pepper, among several more, and can be ordered in three portion sizes. I had a Maple Ham & Bacon half-sandwich (they have seven varieties of sandwich served full or half size) and a coffee while my wife shared her Greek salad (they have eight salad variations from which to choose) and Fire roasted Tomato Bisque with me. All items were delicious and everything appeared and tasted freshly made.The restaurant is just a short distance along Wellington Street north of Highway 401 (just north of Bradley Street) and, if approaching from there, it will be on the left side of the road which has a boulevard preventing left turns. It's better to enter from the north.The acid test is whether we'd return and the answer is: yes!"

"This is tucked a stone's throw off Richmond Row on Piccadilly...steps from Oxford and Richmond near Urban Outfitters. Quiet and cosy, the food is fresh and prepared with care by owner chef David. Service quick and respectful. The Udon , sushi and sashimi was delicious as was the spicy crab ramen. Salads available for those who are not fans of Sushi..(there is always one in every crowd). Not licensed but healthy alternatives...kind of refreshing not to have alcohol on the menu. Very reasonably priced. Small patio for the warmer days...locals seem to grab lunch here and they offer a lunch special for delivery to the university. Excellent spot for a quiet business meeting..dividers between tables for intimate privacy. not sure..but believe WIFI is available."

"Two couples for dinner and to be fair, only tried 2 main dishes and two appetizers: Have tried probably a dozen Viet/Thai restaurants in London and would rate our experience as just average. The pad thai tasted exactly the same as the Sinapore noodle mains. In fact I would swear it was the dish same over different noodles. The shrimp were overcooked, dry, hard, and the pork slices were as tough as leather. We also tried the shrimp rolls and the pork spring rolls which were better than the entrees but not as good as those from other restaurants. Service was friendly and prompt but there was only one other table occupied. Decor, surroundings pretty sterile and uninteresting. Very limited menu. You can easily do better in London."
