"If there is one place we ALWAYS visit when we are in Zermatt it is Whymper Stube. We always have the Fondue Bourguignonne and we have never been disappointed. The experience is always special and my wife and I consider it a tradition. The staff is very friendly and efficient and we will certainly be back."

"Great tavern to escape the cold. Beers, soups, burgers and wood interior. Vibes of 17th century travelers. Ate there and got food to go, both were good. Some of the friendliest staff I met in Zermatt."

"Pollux was our favorite hotel on a 14 day Austria- Switzerland trip. Location is right in the center of the main street. Rooms were nice, food was also very good. Family-owned hotel. I would stay there again."

"For a place that wasn’t overly busy I did find it took some time to be acknowledged after finding a seat as appears to a couple of larger groups that came in after me. The place is clean and tidy with dishes taken away pretty quickly. The pizza I had was nice though the cheese was extremely chewy. It’s good to have some chew to it but it felt like it still had not separated after chewing. Pricing is fair. Again seemed to take some time to give me the bill even though my plate had been cleared. If there was a half star I’d give it 3.5"
