"The rooms were reasonably spacious with a tiny shower. Relatively clean but structural issues were obvious. The atmosphere in the adjoining pub/restaurant was good, with most of the staff being very friendly. The food quality was good, but overpriced. After the pub/restaurant shut down, there were no staff on site at all. When, at 2am, a pipe in the ceiling burst spewing boiling hot water all over the room bed, wardrobe, floors all soaked the fire alarm went off for all of the rooms but nobody arrived for the following 45 minutes at which point we called several numbers of staff from the website to convey this information. They then took 30 minutes to arrive and turn off the water and alarms. This meant we had no access to basic cleaning facilities in the morning and could not even drink tap water until the restaurant opened. More concerning was the fact that even though fire alarms had been triggered, no emergency services nor staff were immediately summoned to the premises. In the end, I slept on a cold floor so that my grandparents could have a bed that wasn't soaked through. Rooms: The rooms were reasonably spacious with a tiny shower. "Got to say the Food is amazing,I have eaten here every night for the last 3 nights. Only thing that let it down was the service, they totally forgot my colleagues steak pie, so he ate after us, but they refunded his meal , which was very fair, but still tried to add the 10% service charge . Then again tonight it was a 2 hr seating as waited an hour for food, needs more attentive staff, as they just walk past you all the time not taking in people waiting for food, or drinks. There is well enough staff on shift, just a lack of organisation, and again a service charge loaded on, so I got it removed. Service charge beware all, this seems to be loaded on as standard Everywhere these days"

"One of the best (if not the best) caffes I have ever made. for beginners it has a warm, welcoming and community feeling, it is animal-friendly, the workers know the menu inside, amazing coffee and they serve alcohol! (so try to taste the tequila hot chocolate if I don't drive). the owner is lovable and has customer service perfected. then the menu Cheese Toasties, everyone you can imagine and with amazing combination of aromen and options. genie. this place is really a hidden gem and I would be there every day when I lived closer!"
