"A short, well curated menu of food and beverages that works for parties of all sizes and most diet preferences. I didn’t notice any specifically vegan or gluten-free items, but there were several vegetarian options. The bacon-wrapped shrimp was perfectly cooked (and rapidly eaten), and the scallops with grits was delicious; I even liked the kale, which was subtly garlicky and sweet. Most of my companions ordered the halibut special, and all of them very nearly licked their plates clean. My group also tried a few of the choices from the brief but appealing house cocktail list, and at least a couple of us ordered another round of the same. The noise level is pretty high, to the extent that it was sometimes difficult to hear the live music, but we were still able to have conversations among ourselves. The service is efficient and amiable, with the entire party’s orders arriving simultaneously and beautifully presented. It was an all-around excellent dining experience."

"This restaurant is one of my favorite places in Nashville, the food is 10 10 and I have tried almost everything on the menu. This time I got a Churrasco with chicken. It’s rich and flavorful but a little messy which I don’t mind because I love the chimichurri . The hot chicken sandwich is so good an so spicy, has a lot of flavor and is very moist, there’s nothing I would change. Subculture has the best hot chicken in town, period!"

"All I can say is wow! Black Rabbit nailed the perfect date night. With small plates that are perfect for sharing, we got to try so much on this menu. The rabbit rolls were fabulous and a perfect starter. We ordered the ribeye steak to share, which had unbelievable flavor and was cooked to perfection. The chimichurri sauce that came with it was phenomenal. We paired that with the grilled romaine and the Brussels sprouts, which made for a wonderfully rounded meal. We finished it off with the ice cream sandwich, and enjoyed drinks throughout. You can see from the photos how absolutely wonderfully plated everything was, and the taste of everything was just as good.Not only was the food and atmosphere absolutely wonderful, but the service was truly outstanding. Our waiter gave us fantastic recommendations for each course. He and the entire staff were so incredibly friendly.For so many reasons, I would highly recommend Black Rabbit for your next date night dinner spot."

"Great service, great food, in a homey setting. This was a fabulous evening night. We had hoped to dine on the patio but rain forced us inside. The staff kept everyone COVID safe and carefully distanced. We were having such a good time that we accidently stayed past closing, The server still refilled our water glasses and asked if we needed anything else. Everything tasted great. Note: the two non-meat eaters were thrilled with their meals."
