"We opted for the evening formule.. quite a basic fare of grilled ham with fries, but a tasty crème brulee. Service was really slow however we had to wait a long time for someone to come and collect our food order and there could probably do with more staff. The atmosphere is lovely though, right by the Cathedral, with comfortable seating and a relaxed environment."

"This is a very nice bakery serving the usual morning fare that you'll find in any bakery croissants, pains au chocolat etc. But you can find the same in many other places. Near the Mercure there is the Leclerc shopping centre which has café bars serving breakfast and a Flunch fast food outlet, and a McDonalds. Some of those can also do you a good coffee and breakfast if you don't want to eat at the Mercure. Mc Donalds probably does the best coffee, BTW."

"We were on an overnight stay while travelling on our family holiday. The restaurant was one of a few recommended by the owner of the hotel we were staying at. We were greeted and offered a terrace seat and then presented with menus which came in the format of an iPad which then displayed the menu in your choice of language complete with photos which was a great help given we had two teenagers with us. The waiter was great, spoke English and also indulged us with our attempts at finch. The menu was varied and the quality of food was fantastic. All the staff were attentive and helpful. The prices were fair €140 for 4 x 3 course meals c/w drinks. We would certainly eat there again if we are back in Alençon next year."

"I lived in Alencon for 7 months and that was one of my favorite regular restaurants to visit. A wide selection of Moroccan and French dishes for a good price and the owner is very friendly and friendly. A relaxed atmosphere with well prepared and tasty dishes. Miss it! I love French food, but the pommes that came with food in most restaurants were appalling, so I was glad that this restaurant was really fat, delicious chips!"
