"Been as part of a group and all i can say it is one of the best places to eat in a group, great atmosphere, fantastic food, awesome beer and extremely reasonable on cost, sweets i would say are a little under par but after such a fantastic main i really didnt care."

"We ate in the restaurant because it looked very cozy from the outside. the menu is not really big, but in order. 2 vegetarian dishes were also offered. the vegetarian scavenger was a finished product that after my opinion was 100% of the brand valess. is quite bad for a 3-star hotel. the 2 waiters were nice, but seemed very stressed. after eating came over an hour, we found that the tortellini dish was also prepared with finished sauce and delicious. When the waiter came into the room, he turned the eyes and was clearly annoyed because we had stacked the plates. very bad that the visit to the conclusion was not very satisfactory. for people who want to eat quickly, what can be recommended to the restaurant, but who should look for a cozy, friendly restaurant with good eating."

"This was my fourth visit to Braunlage on my way back to England from Berlin but my first visit to 51Nord and I will definitely be going back and recommending it to all my friends. I had the pleasure of eating there 3 nights out of my 4 night stay. I'm fortunate enough to travel around the world with my business and have eaten in some very nice restaurants and indeed some not so nice! and can genuinely say that the food I was served is some of the nicest I have ever tasted, the small filet steak was not only huge but nothing short of exceptional! in fact it was so good I had it on my first and last night. You can tell that all the food is fresh and prepared in house The team at 51Nord headed by Ines were friendly, professional accommodating and the food was cooked to perfection. I have to agree with Ian W that the two negative comments left by the other guest are completely at odds with my experience.... baffling?! I look forward to returning again very soon."

"Because the owner is a master baker and butcher, the quality of meat dishes was not. He also told us that he had made a professional course in making coffee (Vienna style), which is why the Cappucino was from this world. This was a busy place and fortunately we had reserved a table (important in Corona times). We were amazed at how fast the food was served despite the number of customers and just a few waiters. All in all a great experience and we were again a second time."
