"I've been using tiffin for years and it was always great. the kebabs are beautiful, huhn tikka perfectly cooked and naan brote are amazing. but my recent order of 2 kebabs was disappointing, they had less than 1/4 of the huh tikka they usually after a few minutes I just got naan brot to eat and it with chips for filling! eating was nice, but now I am still hungry and must now order more food from somewhere else!"

"Nice place with a pleasant atmosphere. Both food and drink were acceptable. The staff were polite and courteous with plenty of free local parking within yards. Was nice to sit back and watch the steam train enter the station adjacent to the cafe."

"Came in a rush needed food for family asap as had to get to get train station on time i was already delayed , the team at roosters gave me hot fresh food for all the family within 10 mins and gave extra onion rings for kids aswell and kids ate all their food with joy. Price service, food was all brilliant, will defo be ordering again from them. Thank you guys."

"Went in for a quick lunch, as we had dinned here before when shopping in Leigh. Brilliant fresh chips, crisp on outside soft on inside, made me think of my work days when I used to have occasion lunches at top London restaurants. Very good. Cheerful staff. Glad to see them open after this rough year."

"Took my grandma out for the day who’s practically house bound. She wanted to come here as she used to do so with her friend. It was fairly empty so was good to get her wheelchair in. As we put the brakes on to get her out into a chair we were rudely told to move from the aisle. We also had a pram which we tried to move as best possible. It’s a very small shop with no spare corners perhaps something to consider? Or at least help your customers by telling them where they can place pranks/wheelchairs rather than just be rude about it. While we were there there was another wheelchair and 2 more prams come in and out so it appears to be something worth looking at. One lady in particular was very rude she brought the wrong meal and when we told her she didn’t even apologise. She also brought us a wrong drink but by this point we just accepted it and bought another as couldn’t be bothered with her attitude. She was the same with all customers. One other member of staff was very friendly and helpful, making a lot of effort with everyone. Shame 1 rude person lets a place down. The food was good! We won’t be coming back though unfortunately we felt like she didn’t want us there that’s for sure"

"I have visited Irwell's Bistro many times and been mostly satisfied with the food, however, on Tuesday Sept a friend and I went for lunch and I ordered a sausage bloomer with salad (I think that is what it was described as on the...menu). The salad was half a tomato, three pieces of cucumber and a little finely grated carrot. The waitress asked if I wanted white or brown, I ordered white. When it came it was white toasting bread not a bloomer. The sausages were whole and the skins were very tough, which meant that when I bit into the sandwich the sausages fell out and the bread became soggy. It is the first time I have ever had to eat a sandwich with a knife and fork, the best thing about it was the brown HP sauce. I will visit again at some point but I will be very careful to ask for a description of the food I am ordering. The above in no way reflects on the friendly manner of the waitresses and the pleasant surroundings."
