"Since the closure of the FAMOUS Balgownie Fish Chip shop many locals have been at a loss to find a replacement........think I have found it. This is little family run business great food, great prices great service.....would highly recommend for a quick cheap...tasty takeaway."

"I originally stopped at this restaurant with my wife to enjoy the view. We attempted to purchase a cup of coffee but this was all too hard for the wait staff and we said we would never go back. Unfortunately I was invited to a...dinner with work colleagues which was organised to be held here. I warned them of my concerns in relation to the customer service but we went anyway. When we arrived and were seated, we were not approached by any waiters and had to signal to try and get a drinks menu. After finally ordering drinks our drinks menu was quickly whisked away as we were told it was the only one and another table needed in. The ladies had to wait over half an hour for their cocktails and were then told that they could not have any more as supposedly the only person who knew how to make a cocktail had gone home. As we were eating dinner it was very obvious that the staff wanted us to hurry up and eat and get out of there so they could go home standing looking at our table with arms crossed. Not enjoyable at all and I definitely won't be back"
