"We ordered fish and chips and battered mars bars. The service was excellent, both fast and friendly despite it being very busy. It was some of the best fish and chips we've had (and we're from Pembrokeshire). Would definitely visit again when in Aviemore."

"Visited with friends and had an amazing lunch. Excellent, friendly service from the team. The food was great. Tasting, simply very well done. Highly recommended and will be back for sure. AND David very kindly gave us a lift back to our accommodation after we had been joined by a bottle of wine."

"A thoroughly enjoyable, if slightly odd evening. The pies were great, nicely cooked and tasty, the chips were a little plain but crisp, the mushy peas just mushy peas and the gravy nice and tasty but probably bisto. It may sound that it didn't think much of the food but I really enjoyed it all. The price tag, at £8.95 for pie and chips is great. To cap it off the host, and his mum were a true comedy double act, slightly fringe comedy, but funny. Give the place a go!"

"We were staying nearby and got two pizzas to go from here. We had to wait a while in the midgy car park but they were definitely worth it light, airy crusts and generous toppings. Not sure what the bar, restaurant or hotel were...really like as we didn't go in other than to order, but there were a few tables outside too. Staff were a bit unsure if they could serve us at first, even though they did not seem busy and our B&B host had called ahead to check for us... but it all worked out and we enjoyed the food very much."

"Would give a review, except we can hear the toilet flushing in room above(in room in The Stables), as well as footsteps above us all night. Family possibly had a child or dog, and we were permanently awake from Raised the issue with staff, but nothing could be done. Despite this, I would return. Staff were good, really friendly and accommodating, location is breathtaking, whisky bar is reasonably priced, and excellent selection…everything about this place is quality, but we will only stay in main hotel, not the stables. They need better sound insulation in the ceiling I don’t want to hear people flushing if I’m in a a night room. You wouldn’t get that in a premier inn. The bed was super hard too, which was a shame. Overall, I would still highly recommend, but the Stables rooms need a few tweaks The food was good, not great, but we were told the main restaurant was closed due to COVID issues, only to notice when we got there that it was open?! Despite all these issues, I’m still impressed by the overall feel, and would still go back."

"Of us were staying at the Ferry Inn for nights, to attend Scottish National Sheepdog Trials. Prior to arriving we had decided to eat at a different restaurant each night. After our first meal in the refurbished Upper Deck/Ferry Inn restaurant, where ALL...the staff, but especially Linda and Donna are so helpful and pleasant, we changed our minds as what we’d ordered here was so good. Over the nights we tried the Chicken Schnitzel, Chicken Caesar Burger, Fish Pie, Haddock and Posh Fries, Macaroni cheese, King Prawn Crab Linguine and they were all excellent….but… we all had the Sirloin or Fillet steaks and they were AMAZING. One of our party said the best steak he’d ever had was at One Devonshire Gardens…..and the Fillet Steak here was better and cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend"
