"I’ve been here many times before and I’ve always had lovely food. This was my birthday treat, so I was looking forward to it. However sadly, this time, the service food was not up to its usual standard. We were greeted by a rather unfriendly sullen waitress and led to our pre booked table. I ordered Hunters chicken. The chicken breast was minuscule and overcooked and the chips were scarce. My daughter’s food (fish and chips) was better huge fish , chips not great. We then ordered desserts , 35 minutes later they still hadn’t arrived. I asked the waiter and 10 minutes later the desserts arrived. The pub wasn’t full, so not sure what the issue was, but a 45 minute wait for 2 desserts is ridiculous."

"Booked 2 nights taking 2 suites with family- great stay and hotel has very good vibe. Staff are pleasant and even met a very nice housemaid who had time to chat and give us extra biscuits Overall a really good experience and added bonus was the leisure facilities A+"
