"I have only marked as 2 dishes that I have been tired of ordering out and my replacement dessert (pavlova) had only 1 piece of fruit. However, we have eaten quite late (8pm) and the restaurant was very busy so that food seemed to run short. The staff was very pleasant and besides the lack of fruit in the Pavlova the meal was tasty and very good."

"We had our work late Christmas event here yesterday evening and oh what a night was it!. great great service from the bar staff and the manager was a lover, so courteous!. we have set the small functional area at the back of the pub that was lovley and had some buffet food that was hot, chic and plentiful. what a brilliant night. we will be throwing back"

"Excellently all around, the cocktail menu is based locally, the oysters are worth dying, the oysters spits are worth the hype. the fish and chips are described as correct, but the chips are not really platelet-shaped (they are more crispy/footed than an English chippy, not that this is a bad thing at all, they are simply not the same. Don't sleep on the things that sound a bit boring!"
