"Been here twice and found the meat dishes just great. Size and flavor matched my appetite....as well as my family's! Lots of good things to try on the menu and you won't be disappointed. It does get a bit crowded but then if it weren't good no one would go there, right?!"

"I had high hopes for The Butcher Shop and Pub. From the outside it looks cool, modern and artisan well done on the design. When we entered and asked for a table for two, we were escorted upstairs and asked to sit next to a table of people all smoking heavily. I explained that I am not a smoker and don't wish to sit or eat in this environment so they took us back downstairs and took us to a cramped table next to a pillar. The menu looked promising a selection of meats available with choice of rub or sauce, some nice sounding sides plus interesting starters. However when we tried to order the pate, the waiter explained that there were several items not available all seemingly what we wanted to order. So we settled for a goats cheese salad then a couple of steaks. The salad was big enough for two to share, with two thin slices of tasteless baguette, each with small slices of what tasted like goats cheese but looked more like cheese spread. The salad dressing was a disaster thick, gloopy, far too sweet and much too much of it. We had to scrape it off the lettuce to actually make it edible. The mains arrived while we were still eating the starter. I had ordered something described as hanging steak, which, on the plate, resembled a slightly thicker frying steak. I had requested no rub or coating, but only salt and pepper, which in retrospect was a mistake because it was pretty tasteless. It was tender meat, but devoid of flavour. The real shock was the garlic wedges accompanying it. I honestly have not tasted anything so bad in a restaurant of that supposed quality in a long time. They were wedge shaped, looked to be hand cut, but they were subsequently covered in some utterly awful dry coating that was bright orange and tasted like some cheap artificial barbecue coating. The taste was so bad, and it lingered in the mouth long after I spat out the wedge, meaning that the already tasteless steak now tasted equally as unpleasant. I wish I could say something positive but there was nothing positive to report on. My friend's steak was dry, burnt in places and equally as tasteless. His french fries were not treated to same awful coating as my wedges, but were still poor imitations of proper fries. The wine was passable, although they did not have the advertised cabernet sauvignon so replaced it with merlot. The bill for one bad starter, two bad mains and two glasses of average wine was 2,700 Pesos. Much better value is available in myriad places along the Bonifacio High Street. If the BS&P doesn't raise its standards significantly, I cannot see it surviving."

"Service is very disappointing. The crews doesn't know how to prioritize customer seating. Those who prefer and wait for an in-store seat are made to occupy al fresco seats eventhough there are other clients who just dont mind seating outside to eat. Worst of all,...one of the staff placed her cleaning tools (smelly basahan) beside me while I was eating. We were seated at the bar and was curtly told by the server to just get our drinks instead of serving it to us. Worst ever experience!!! I know that it is Christmas Day and the restaurant must be overwhelmed with the number of clients wanting to eat, but they must not forget to smile and serve their clients well. Anyway the food is great but the staff is not!!!"

Look forward to the diverse, delicious Mexican cuisine, traditionally prepared with corn, beans and chilies (hot peppers).

"Murray and D'Vine is a new acquisition of The Bistro Group. I visited before to try their ostrich burger, which is no longer part of the menu... They did maintain their curly fries, nachos with beef and cheese, burger sliders, and their beef salpicao-- all of which were served for the group that night... ????????

I love fries, more so twister fries because it's so fun! I liked the BBQ flavored fries the most among their three available flavors. Nachos are always a good option for bar chow! Though I didn't try the burger sliders anymore, I did try the salpicao... It was pretty spicy, but seriously I couldn't stop myself from eating it... To think I was already (theoretically) full...????

I mention bar chow because this place is more about drinks and cocktails... They offer discounts on selected cocktails before 7pm... I tried the mojito that night and had a couple of sips from a friend's frozen margarita... I preferred the Mojito... And I learned that night that you can never go wrong ordering a Mojito in any of the Bistro Group's establishments... They have perfected this drink, take my word for it...????????

It's such a laid back place to chill and hangout in... Plus the friendliness of the staff is a major plus point for me!????"

"Discovered this little, cozy Filipino Mexican restaurant in Serendra and it did not disappoint! Ambiance is relaxed with feel good music. Salpicao burrito is great as well as the chicken quesadilla. Perfect blend of spices. Wishing for enchiladas in the menu which is my favorite too! Will be back for sure."

"The much-needed ramen for the rainy season! This might be the best thing to do during rainy season next to the "S" word -- Sleeping. XD

Let's now go to the real thing.

As for the place, I believe it's quite small compared to other Raen Nagi branches, but it's okay. They also have tables outside if you prefer.

For the food, we ordered the classic Butao. It's tasted good but I know there is a ramen house out there that offers better-tasting ramen. Nevertheless, it is still worth your money and it's all you need to eat to get bloated. Unless, of course, if you have a very big appetite.

The service is also great. They are attentive to our needs like the refill of our glasses of water. They also offered us the nagi chips, which we declined because we are already full like pigs.

Overall, we are satisfied because we really craved for something hot to eat this rainy day."

"Was able to visit this place twice already (1) with my aunt and (2) with my homies.

I was able to try the following dishes:

Bacon Clam Chowder

- served hot in a bread bowl, the soup was tasty and comforting.

Warm Buffalo Bleu Cheese with Chicken Dip

- This was good! It may look bitin and konti but it was actually a lot. Served with potato chips, celery and carrots. Would be better if the potato chips were able to maintain their crispiness. I like soggy soft nacho chips but not soggy potato chips. :( We tried dipping the fried chicken here which surprisingly worked well together! :)

Providore Salad

- Providore's salad was just okay. Usual salad. Nothing extraordinary. At 350pesos, this is way too pricey, imo.

Crispy Seafood Mayo Roll

- Hmm, this was just okay too. I was kind of expecting a lot from this one but sadly, it was not how I expected it to be. The bread was too big/thick. No buttery soft bun filled with seafood goodness. The seafood filling was a bit bitin and is lacking something I can't exactly identify. Parang kulang.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

- There must be a reason why this dish is named like this. You just can't say something's a winner when clearly, it's not. I was not that excited to try it at first since it looks just like any ordinary crispy fried chicken, but when you get to taste it, you'll understand why and know the reason behind the name. With a chicken this good, you just have to name it as a Winner. ;)

The first time I tried this, I liked it but on my second visit, it was so much better. I loved it! The chicken was really good. Crispy and was fried perfectly! And the mashed potato, biscuit/bread were also yummy. A must try!

Beef Salpicao

- Tender, tasty and oh so flavorful beef salpicao. Garlic goodness overload! This was another winner and we all liked this.

Bicol Express

- This was surprisingly good and tasty. Bicol express lovers will surely enjoy this. Sarap!

If you're planning to visit this place, you must order the CHICKEN. If you like beef, order the salpicao. And oh, heard and read good reviews about the burger so you might want to try that, as well.

SERVICE was just okay. First visit, service was fast and the servers were hands on, very helpful and approachable. On my second visit, it wasn't as good as the first but not that bad -- just different."
