"Yum! really good food and fast service. the portion sizes differ according to what they choose, my man had the buttermilk chicken and his plate was stacked high, and I had the shattered chicken that was significantly smaller. However, the quality of the food was so delicious and the children's menu and portions were good. very well maintained inside and tables spaced it felt very kovid safe."

"When we were in witney to meet and had 40 minutes too long, we came across this pub on our hikes. what a good decision we have made, although it was 5 o'clock, the place is obviously very popular with all age groups and very busy, also so we were served immediately and were greeted by a young lady with a smile. our beer that we ordered was on site and went down, and it wasn't one that we tasted before, I will certainly make a return when we are in the opposite."

"Best fish and chips ever, apart from Mariners Wharf in Hout Bay, and Cape Town is too far away for a regular refill. The fish is cooked to order, crispy batter, flesh just flaking; chips also fresh, real potatoes. My neighbour and I share an order between us, being a couple of old ladies, but the men of the house settle down with determined expressions and contented noises."
