"PLEASE DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THIS LADY! 1 Star is too much!!! She no longer has a bakery (read her comments), I 'm sure my cake was baked at home. It appears that you, Dana, made assumptions that other people 's reviews was my cake. It seems I 'm not the only one you have ruined and made a mess out of. You stated in a response to someone else you fully refunded me. Let 's clarify, yes you did, just tonight, but not until I had to get firm and request it. I have filed a claim with my bank, cash app, and others to try and get my money back. Regarding the cake a melted cake would have been one thing. This cake was a nasty mess!!! It was BROKEN up and put together, one side was a couple inches tall and the other side flat. It had fingerprints in it, it smelled like cigarette smoke. When I asked you if you smoked you blamed who you got your boxes from, yet that is a lie as well. Since you had a pack of menthol cigarettes laying in the front of your car. You contacted me and needed to move the day when you brought the cake. I agreed to let you bring it the day of my daughter 's birthday, the day before her birthday, thinking all would be well and never in my dreams imagined you would be at my house at 1pm with this awful mess leaving me to figure out a new plan. No matter your response you should be ashamed and embarrassed. I would never serve a friend at my house something that looked like this. This cake was NEVER beautiful, NEVER decadent like your description. You said it would be decadent White Chocolate and Raspberries . After reading your reviews I am confident the positive reviews are people you know and all of us complaining are real customers as we all have the same experience. You the consumer look at these photos and you decide if this is just a melted cake of if you see a major triangle shaped cake, broken up pieces, and a nasty mess!!! If you don 't want this showing up at your door and not sure if you will get refunded, I suggest you find another bakery!!!"

"We spent a rainy Sunday morning at Shirley's and left with full bellies and smiles. I had the breakfast burrito with fresh fruit and house blend coffee. The food was amazing and the service impeccable! We sat in the room overlooking the garden listening to Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald croon over the speakers. Art adorned the walls from local artists, some pieces for sale to the public. Family friendly, as we were able to let our one year old play on the floor beside us as we ate without stares of judgement. If you are looking for a cozy new brunch spot, I highly recommend Shirley's!"
