"Following the high rating on Google I made my way to this inconspicuous little gem in the Quadra Village of Victoria. It?s easy to pass it on the street so keep looking if you miss it first time. The food is some of the best I?ve ever tasted. I got therein time for happy hour and tasted two amazing appetizers for $8 total. One was made from only chickpea flour and deep fried toperfection served with a delicious spicy sauce. The second delicious piece was grilled pork belly. The flavour was fabulous. Iordered the Kalettes veggie main course and again the flavours didn?t disappoint. Rich and unusual while being amazing. Myserver strongly recommended the chocolate dessert which I cannot say enough about. It was sweet, salty, creamy and decadentwithout being overpowering. Overall the meal was 5 star. The vibe of the place is calm and smooth while being friendly andrelaxed. I will definitely be back."

"A friend and I visited this pub for a night out and we had a good time..... the staff are friendly and polite. the band was awesome, and there's no cover charge. it wasnt too busy so we were able to sit and have drinks... the food was decent and the atmosphere was pretty laid back. I would return to this pub again...."

"My girlfriend and I live in the apartments above Ruth & Dean. I get an americano there on the way to work almost every morning. Their baked goods are amazing, especially their cinnamon buns. I would also recommend their quiche. It's worth taking a trip to Victoria just to taste this quiche. The team working there are friendly, helpful, and directly invested in the outcome of their business, making this, in the end, a worthy and genuine luncheonette that you should definitely visit."

"Just visited...Not good as I expectedOrdered lav oat latte xtra hot and no foam.I told to barista too same as I told to till person but she did not do what I requested, when I saw what my drink was made I told her right away but she did not even finished me to speak. Well, might did not trained well her customer servise even being good barista..Thanks this such wasted and almost 7dollars drink. But not worth it was I paid for..Very disappointed to this Coffee ShopNot recommended to those tourist who is supporting locals, not this one.."
