"We ate at the Rose and Crown tonight after reading the reviews. On arrival the lady behind the bar was lovely but it went down hill from there .It took ages to take our order, I am GF and I did not trust the food as the young lady serving could even tell me if the Garlic mushrooms were strong as I quote ‘ I have tried them’ so we had to ask her to ask. The two people serving didn’t seem to know what GF was . Also the chips came undercooked and the chicken came out burnt. We had to wait for ages for the food to come out , so we didn’t complain as I’m sure it would have taken longer to get it sorted. We wanted to order more drinks and a pudding but know one then came near the table to ask. In the end we had to go to the bar to pay. I definitely did not enjoy the experience and the staff need more training on how to recognise when it’s time to approach the table ! "Visiting Haverfordwest and found this place for lunch. A real gem. Excellent choice of food and especially vegetarian. The restaurant was very busy but the service was attentive. would recommend booking in advance. highly recommend."
