"The Paleo cafe caters for those who are on a Paleo diet as well as for people who like to eat healthy, freshly prepared food, so it is also really great if you are on a gluten and/or lactose free diet, which our family is. The food is freshly prepared and tasty and you can get breakfast, lunch and morning and afternoon tea. My non coeliac husband also enjoys the meals here and the coffee is great. The service is always very friendly. We feel really relaxed when we eat there."

"I come here to the pokies every now and then, and this bistro is always busy, so I decided to try dinner here one night. This is one of those places where you pay before you eat. I wasn't that hungry so decided to try the soup of the day. Meal came out less then 5 minutes after I ordered and came out barley luke warm. The soup was the worst kind I had ever had. I wouldn't be surprised if it came out of a Coles home-brand tin, because that's what It tasted like. Best thing was the bread on the side. No flavor and no seasoning. Staff very friendly and price was cheap. I definitely won't be eating here again."

"Greeted by bonjour as we entered I thought we were in safe hands . Then I realised that ‘bonjour’ was about the only French spoken by the waiter staff. The menu included some great French lunch snack names. Alas that’s as French as it got with cheddar and Hungarian salami filling the baguettes and croques . The bread however was beautiful and the cakes/pastries looked delicious. The front staff lacked finesse or understanding of French food which is a shame as the owner is very French and works hard in the back making some lovely delicate pastries. Been a while since I had a bubbly frothy cappuccino which tasted like it came out of a packet."

"We travel all the way from Queensland to have a Souvlaki here. Always try to visit a few times while we're in the area. Never despise and always tasty. We had milk shakes this time and it was good to see the metal containers again and they were filled up. So if you love Souvlaki like we wouldn't go past this place."

"Enjoyed food, coffee and service here January 2017. Visiting Ballarat again July '17 and looked forward to another visit. Breakfast and coffee again was delicious. Lots of yummy treats available too."
