"We are residents of the area and have patronized this establishment many times of the years. It is the only Chinese buffet restaurant in the area and when it opened it served a niche of people who like the buffet experience. Unfortunately, this will be my family's last visit to this restaurant. The food was bland and some of the items were stale or overcooked. The bathroom facilities were unclean. We weren't very concerned as our meal was mostly covered by a gift certificate. Upon presentation of our gift certificate, management declined to honour the $50 value (which was given to us from a relative in 2015). Apparently the gift certificate was issued by a third party marketing agency the restaurant had used and had used the wrong colour of logo. Management said there was an expiry date of 6 months to use the gift certificate and that it was now null and void. Gift certificates under the consumer protection laws have no expiry dates. Management agreed that they shouldn't have added an expiry date but one was listed. Instead, they offered to rebate our meal by 25% ($13). Despite protesting our unjust treatment, we paid for our meal and left vowing never to return. Management said they had no choice. We believe they had a duty to honour the gift certificate.As someone who worked in the service industry, the customer should never had had to deal with a restaurant's issues with a third party marketing firm.If you are looking for a great Chinese buffet restaurant - travel to Barrie, ON to the Mandarin Restaurant and you'll pay the same price for better service, food and management."

"Just finishing dinner here tonight...wife and I like to sit at the bar and have a casual dinner. Haley, the bartender, is fantastic...always a smile, a bubbly personality and her recommendations are dead on. We shared the mussels...my wife licked the bowl clean...fantastic sauce. We had the blue cheese strawberry salad...again, the right combination of flavours. We split the seafood pasta (full of snapper, halibut, lobster, and crab) in a white cream tarragon sauce...it was good(I normally don't order pasta)...it was real good!We finished with the dark chocolate mousse/brittle, accompanied by a "buffalo trail" bourbon...great pairing!Always look forward to coming back."

"Young attractive lad work the kitchen gave me ten free burger coupons due to my dissimilarity of the fries. he was also seen as drinking this dirty sprite, and that was when I knew that this place was the schizz. definitiw to reach again, 100x better than @oldmillhousepub. boiled to perfection."

"Sept 18 approximately 2 pm My family really enjoys Dairy Queen and after a round of golf on a hot day it was a good place for a treat. We have been going to this location for many years but we noticed that one staff person has poor customers service. Blizzards are only 90% full. Told that is the way it is. Is this the staff person determining this or the owner instructing staff to do this. I ordered a parfait with less chocolate and more nuts. The young lad told me that basically was not going to happen. I told him it will because all other locations accommodate this. He seems to think he is the manager but isn't."

"The last time that my fiancées and we are at this “production” in March 2022, we were made to feel as if we were “happy” sitting on a table. We are placed in the corner of an EMPTY restaurant and met with an impersonal...and indifferent waiter; then we have gone foolishly to spend our money. Today we asked a table and we were told, “we are fully booked”. I would have bought it if I were unable to see 18 EMPTY tables from the entrance. We took our money elsewhere."
