"We were on our way back to the car park at Grasse, after we stumbled upon this little gem of a Chocolate/Marzipan shop. The selection and range was varied and wide. The marzipan was quite delicious and tasted so good. And the colours were so vibrant and eye catching. The owner/manager of the shop was very friendly and polite and you could tell he really loved what he was doing there and it showed. Recommend this place !!"

"The medieval centre of Grasse is worthy of a visit, and if you want a relatively cheap, but tasty, dinner for the family I would recommend here, it's just off of the main square the menu is in French and English, with a pretty...good choice, the service was quick and the staff friendly so if you're in Grasse and want a bite with the family bring them here.."

"My husband and I shared the best salad I've ever tasted to start, topped with an abundance of seafood with a delicious sauce. I then had a pasta dish, again, with a generous amount of sauce. My husband chose sardines accompanied by a filo parcel...of perfectly cooked vegetables. It was a superb meal served by a very friendly and helpful waitress. If we ever return to Grasse we shall definitely dine here again"

"After a delayed flight we ate late, around pm. We were shown to a table outside, close but not too close to the swimming pool. Having left a cold, wet and windy UK just a few hours earlier, it was idyllic. Service...was friendly, the menu was short but full of attractive options, and the food turned out to be excellent. Our daughter loved her steak, my wife's sea bass was delicious, and my guinea fowl and risotto was full of flavour. Had our flight been on time, we'd probably have heading out into the centre of Grasse for dinner, but as it turned out, the Elixir provided us with the perfect gastronomic start to our French trip."

"Delicious plat du jour at midday, very good amount and quality of food, well cooked, very reasonable price (9€, 1.50€ for coffee, homemade desserts about 4€. I found the owners (madame in the kitchen, monsieur in the salle incredibly friendly and helpful. English is...pronounced if they need that. this restaurant is from the main square and is located near the theater. the terrace is small but protected and the main room of the restaurant is welcoming and comfortable. they are open on Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. the restaurant was recommended to me by a rampart and I can see why, so I recommend it to them to go there! will come back to try dinner."

"Had a reservation for Saturday evening. We ate an amazing three-course meal. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Judging the menu by the first look the place seemed like a regular pizza place but surprised us with real, french style bistro-meal. The foie gras and tuna starters were especially recommendable as well as the beef tartar. The quality-price ratio was full five stars. Location is a bit out the city centre, but do not be intimidated by the short walk, this was definitely worth it! We will definitely visit this place again. Also a huge plus for being able to book a table online."
