"We did the Mercy of the Chef menu. 3 of the courses were terrific, the rest was just okay. The ambiance outside is not good compared to other places in La Jolla. I wouldn’t recommend."

"Sadly Disappointing This is a place where we have dined many times in the past. It used to be great, but lately, the last times we have visited it has really been a disappointment. Last night, we returned the Ceasar Salad which was bitter and wilted, and we returned the Rib Eye that we ordered Medium and came well done. Our server was not particularly attentive either.. We've only given it so many additional chances because of how good it used to be in the past, and because I always feel the manager is responsive to our petitions. I hope this restaurant can go back to its glory days"
