"The food is good as it is used to be. However, the service by unwelcome and loud mouth French employees remains the same. As an example you call the waiter as he seems unwilling to work, he finally arrives and answers « ne vous inquiétez pas, j’arrive! ». You point out that the bill shows a 3 dl of soda instead of a 2 dl glass served, the waiter takes the bill and comes with a correct one without even excusing himself. Switzerland is usually a great and hospitable country, why hiring French guys who spoil such reputation?"

"Great Swiss menu, if you want the fondue you will have to give notice. Eaten here quite a few times and the food is always good quality and very tasty. Usually have the Heren steak, which is the local beef. The salad which is included in the dish is eaten first and is very nice, fresh and flavoursome. The steak, vegetables and chips with a sauce of your choice. I usually have the shallots butter is so delicious and melt in your mouth. The restaurant is really rustic with lots of character."

"The guests are greeted by a very loud owner who then lukeciously chat with natives and server sent to place customers. ordered a Mongolian fondue and water. very expensive (over 200 chf for 4 people and in any case this price-performance ratio could not call a novelty. broth that they boil thin meat or fish/prawns in. it did not seem enough to heat up to cook the fish, and ended our appetit on cutting enough to be considered edible. either the fish or the psychological effect, being nervous to eat raw fish, made two of us sick in the night. the service was good, although nice friendly waitress and attentive. I could not recommend others, in all honesty."

"We were a bit worried as the restaurant was rated 41 of 47 in Nendaz but were tired and decided to try it great decision. The chairs inside were hard, straight backed and uncomfortable so, as it was a nice evening, we asked to move outside. The terrace was very nice and comfortable with an umbrella to shield us from direct sunlight. The service was great and the food spectacular. My wife had the pork and I had chicken both were done just right and accompanied with vegetables. We tried the rum cake and citrus tart for dessert and those were wonderful as well. If this is 41 of 47, I can hardly wait to try others in Nendaz. A great evening, with good service and wonderful food. We would highly recommend this restaurant."
