What User likes about Chez Caroline:
Idyllic setting at the foot of the slopes ..a breathtaking scenery. I went there in the summer for work and even in this situation I felt on vacation.. I was very well received to the point of being invited to eat.. For the greatest of my regrets I did not have time to stop.. But for all those who want and can enjoy the wonders that nature offers and the kindness of the staff, I highly recommend this restaurant.. View all feedback.

"We by pure coincidence read an article about the restaurant in a brochure in Ovronnaz and decided to visit the restaurant for dinner. The dinner and service was excellent. The dinner consisted of 6 dishes with a very balanced wine menu that fitted the dishes. The service at the table was a pleasure and very knowledgeable. The menu was based on products from the region including use of wild plants in ways we hadn't experienced yet. We will use that in our own kitchen. Bon vent au Soleil."

"We went for a dinner after hiking we had a great apero on the special “balcony” where the beer arrived in cable car : then a Valais plate with cheese and meat, fantastic local specialties, served with refreshing local white wine. We took natural fondue, it was extremely tasty and really big portion finished with delicious desert and apricotine fantastic food, very tasty and fresh, great, friendly and helpful owners, family atmosphere. Outstanding view from the terrace. Well equipped playground for kids (our is 5 y.o. and was super busy with all available toys/games . Highly recommended!"

"These Durnand gorges are a real treat...A lovely one hour walk, the gorges are magnificent and the return to the forest is very pleasant, stop at the restaurant, the food is delicious, the welcome is warm and the service is efficient and friendly. :"
