"Four of us had a wonderful evening here, the menu had lots of choice and there is a separate vegetarian menu which is delicious, we drank the house white which was also very nice. The staff are friendly, attentive and there is no rush,...plus it’s still nice enough to sit outside in the courtyard which is lovely. We all really enjoyed our evening. We highly recommend this restaurant."

"This is the place to buy her coffee, roasted in front of location and to the floor before her eyes if they so desire. a good selection of coffee, good advice and a series of pots, appliances and tassen. the selection of tees and crimpedes is extensive. I'm always buying coffee."

"It’s now become our tradition to have our first-night in Riberac meal here and, as always we had an absolutely superb meal, this evening! Our Pizzas were just fabulous, all home made and only the best quality ingredients. I had the light version which was...served with a lovely fresh salad and dressing. Our guests chose the Moules-frites, a speciality in this restaurant, and they were amazing! A huge portion cooked to perfection and so delicious. The atmosphere was just great, it was so busy and vibrant, such a popular restaurant with locals and the staff are so lovely, just a really friendly bunch! Most of them speak English, if required, and are very helpful and efficient. Obviously things are slightly different just now, in all restaurants, due to COVID, however the owner has put everything in place and all the staff are wearing masks. They ask that you wear a mask when entering and leaving the terrace and they have their pizza menus under glass on the tables as well as their specials and deserts on boards for you to read. It certainly has not made any difference to the amazing dining experience it’s just as superb as previous years. We rounded our meal off with some gorgeous coffee and desserts, the Creme Brulee (to die for!! cafe gourmand and an ice cream sundae all went down a treat. All in all another fantastic meal at L’Escapade Gourmand!!!"

"This restaurant is where the french business people have a very good reasonably priced lunch. So you need to book to get a table.Proper fresh food not 'frozen'.It is opposite La Poste with good parking around.Go here because you like good food and french style service. It is not a 'fast food restaurant'. GREAT"

"Ah... Armande, what a great encounter! We can only encourage you to choose Armande and Cyril for the organization of your receptions. Everything is perfect, communication, righteousness, management, presence, advice, talent in cuisine and service. Really everything is there. We had no doubt before but after the exploit they carried out in July for our Wedding we are even more grateful. So thank you, 1000 times for what you do/are and don't change anything"
