"It seems to rain almost every afternoon in San Gil during this time of the year. It is good to find a place out of the rain and this upstairs cafe was perfect as it overlooks the central park. There are several outside tables and...that is where I usually sat (I was there times). The park is a beehive of activity during the early evening hours and the people watching from here is good. Also, the park has a fair number of birds, finches, wrens, fruit bats, to name a few. All were visible from this place. It was the only place I saw the fruit bats..."

"They have many organic products, but almost not of them are vegan labeled and when they ask the personal, the pies are vegan, but after reading the ingredients, I found out they contain eggs. the croissants I bought instead had not listed all the ingredients on the package, they contained chocolate and mangle, both were not listed. yet they have vegan yogurt and fake meat."

"Amazing, best breakfast we have had in 6 weeks in South America. We stayed at the Hostel Macondo around the corner and went for breakfast here 4 mornings in a row! Tried 4 different options, they were all as good as each other. Lovely couple that run the place to. Highly recommended if you are staying in San Gil"
