"Excellent coffee and a nice space to chill rest your tired feet. The Streamer Latte was a great smooth cup of coffee, while the Military Latte was something interesting and yummy: green tea white chocolate coffee."

"Super cozy, was a nice surprise to find this place on a cold winter night. It's not easy to find at first sight it's on the 7th floor of a slightly run down feeling building in an alley. But once you take the janky elevator up you see this amazing cool jazz vibe cafe with amazing drinks and dessert. Their basque cheesecake was SO good. Highly recommend!"

"I asked for recommendation and I was recommended to try the Brazilian. It was tasty. I would have it again. The attitude of the staff was weird. Maybe because he wasn’t expecting his first customer of the day to be a foreigner. I thanked him for the coffee and told him it was delicious but he didn’t say anything. He seemed a bit weirded out that I was speaking to him in Japanese, but that could be a Hokkaido thing since there aren’t many foreigners there. I didn’t get a welcoming vibe from him so I’m giving this cafe 4 stars and hopefully they’ll work on improving their attitude towards foreign customers. Other than that, the cafe was cozy and very quiet (which was nice). I definitely liked the taste and would recommend this cafe to others"

"One of breakfast place and coffee shop in Susukino, opened in early morning. Some selections of coffee and simple breakfast, toast and boiled egg. The coffee itself was OK. The cafe was quite small with few tables. Staff was good and welcome. The price was reasonable."

"Hubby’s favorite breakfast in Japan. Apparently it’s a thing To eat Ice cream parfaits Every hour of every day no matter how cold it is outside. Scot enjoyed this at 10AM. A few things made it unique: first it contains a thick layer of chocolate pudding (that’s not ice cream. Plus, it contained thick cubes of chocolate truffles along with some chocolate sponge cake. All the important food groups. The pancakes were terrible- ocercooked. Just get the ice cream. #thefoodietraveler #kuishinbo"

"I rarely ever give 5 stars. It's a 4.7, I think. You can pick kind of ala carte style many sweets... The ingredients that they use are really high quality and they don't cut corners at all. I don't think they use any preservatives or weird additives that I know of. They use butter instead of cheap shortening or lard or palm oil or fat spread. I think they let the natural taste of the ingredients shine instead of relying on artificial flavoring like other companies usually do. The staff at the main branch are mostly able to speak English and the service is great. If you're only waiting for standing seating you can get coffee for like a little more than a hundred yen and amazing raisin butter ice cream sandwiches. The sit-down restaurant space was a bit more fancy but I didn't eat there. Even on a weekday there was a small waiting list. I can't imagine how crowded this place gets on weekends so it's better to visit either early in the morning or in the evening??? The raisin butter ice cream sandwich was really fresh and better than imagined. 230yen in 2022, now 250yen in 2/2023 It was very satisfying and the cookie was crunchy and buttery. There are some other sweets that also cannot be eaten in except for at the shop so I highly recommend trying them. The only problem I had was that the products are not separated into what can be fine at room temperature and what is not fine at room temperature. Therefore you have a whole bunch of customers going home with things that are going to melt or chocolate that is going to come out of tempering or other problems. If you buy things from the shop I think you should pack it all up in a box and send it by cool delivery. It's too much of a risk to bring back chocolate and have it melt. I brought back one thing from Hokkaido and the chocolate came out of tempering.... even mid September! Although this isn't about the main store I had a cream puff at the Otaru shop. The dough part was dry and disappointing....... But since it was only a 100 yen I don't think people would complain much. I'm glad that they stick to good ingredients though. The lady who was running the cafe at the Otaru shop was quite unfriendly and prickly so I recommend eating at the Sapporo shop!!!"
