"I used to eat in Portofino years ago before the renovation took place and was curious to know how it now looks like! The new interior is nice and the location is very beautiful right at the lake but... Unfortunately the food was mediocre (we ordered Pizza and Pasta all pesto genovese plus beetroot salad) and the service was ok. Sadly this beautiful place still offers only a nice view but nothing else! Would not recommend it to anybody."

"Carpark entry was blocked by a hotel car to prevent access because they have no barrier to indicate the parc is full. Sorry, but this gives an impression of not welcome Personnel is friendly. The venue is great, just by the waterside. But more than...the food, it's the location that they are selling. There are only menus on offer! chicken dish, meat dish and fish dish, and this is it! In contrast, they have first course and desserts. The quality of the food was decent but not overwhelming. The bouillabaisse was excellent. The prices are on the very high side. Wine price is abusive We will not come back"

"We took a short Uber ride to Ruen Thai today, prior to our tour at the Lindt Home of Chocolate. The food was absolutely amazing in terms of authenticity, taste and presentation. Our server was from Phuket (very friendly and attentive) and she recommended two...dishes based on our interest and spice level. Wife had Red Curry with Chicken and Pineapple. I had Green Curry with Chicken and Veggies. We’d come back again in a heartbeat!!"
