"Picked up vegetable fried rice and vegetable lo mien soft noodles $14. This was the second time this month that I have ordered these 2 dishes from China Gardens and both time the same results: Gross. The rice was dry and it was so overpowered with msg that I could taste it. There were no vegetables in it besides a few slivers of green onion. The lo mien noodles were very oily and lacked flavour. I could feel the oil all over my lips and they were nice and shiny. Good portion sizes, but poor flavour. I ended up throwing out the rice. This is worse than the Chinese food you get at the mall. The only people who are giving good ratings are staff, family members, or people who have only ever ate cheap, "fast food" style Chinese. I picked up my meal and the service was terrible both times. The lady at the counter (the owner) was standoffish. She would only give me 2 soy sauce packets with my meal. The first time I just dealt with it because I was caught off guard. The second time she went on about how she'll sell me additional soy sauce packets (10 for $1) !!! I pointed out that I had just been there 2 times ordering $14 each visit and it was over a short period of time and that I wasn't going to be back since she won't even give a couple extra packets of soy sauce. (Oh, and don't bother asking for plum sauce packets unless you order an eggroll.) After she realized that I wasn't going to come back and I called her out on how ridiculous she was being, she gave me 4 extra soy sauce packets and told me "you people use too much soy sauce". Thanks. I told her that her food was bland so it needed extra soy sauce. She went on and on about how the soy sauce packets cost money and people want 8 of them with their order. I took my food and soy sauce and left. Make sure you have cutlery and napkins because those aren't provided. I gave this restaurant one star because the food was prepared quickly."

"We recently moved in to the area and were looking for a Chinese food restaurant. We called for take out and the food was ready to go in 20 minutes. The dinner for 2 was more than enough and provided great leftovers the next day! Pricing and portions are more than generous, the dinner for 2 costs about $4 more then 2 combo's at a fast food restaurant. We'll be back for sure!!"

"Cosy, small, very clean restaurant, with lots of take-out activity (likely chilly in the winter for a sit-down meal as there is no barrier when the front door opens). Food was very good, plentiful and delivered hot. Street parking is available around the corner as the restaurant does not have separate parking. The menu is quite extensive and includes shrimp wrapped in bacon and then coated with a light batter before deep-frying, which became an instant favourite."

"Delivery was prompt and friendly. The food was good, very, very, few mushrooms in the mushroom fried rice though. Honey dippers were the dessert that came with the 'Dinner for Two ', but they were inedible fried dough. The chicken Chop Suey was quite good."

"Four friends and i went for lunch and we were all pleasantly surprised. The place is pretty plain but the food is wonderful..they put a lot of thought into the details to to make the dish look beautiful .. always hot and absolutely delicious.. wings is second to none in London. The dim sum we ordered was beautifully prepared and authentic.. the staff were very helpful and pleasant... and the place is very clean. Parking is easy too.We all enjoyed our first meal there and look forward to returning."
