"There is nothing like a small and inconceivable caffe to satisfy their taste shops. If they had now been over bikes, this would have been the perfect marketing campaign. I decided to get the beef lunch option with baked carrots and vegetables. the bark was tender and the baked kartoffel was amazing!"

"Had dinner here last night and impeccable service. Attentive, friendly, polite and fast wait staff. Food unfortunately was a bit of a let down compared to service, the steaks we ordered as medium rare turned out to be very well done medium, on the verge of well done, being a thinner cut of meat I can understand maybe the chef left it cooking a bit longer than he should have? Entree of chilli prawns, couldn't taste the chilli much, everyone concluded the sourness of the tomatoes overpowered the dish and the prawns were on the mushy side. "Have been here several times for breakfast in the past year and that has been good, but not in the evening for over a year.The atmosphere and setting remains delightful.The staff and service was good. The wine list is expensive- cheapest bottle was $48. The tapas is substantial but appeared ti be mire like deep fried pub food. Perhapw ordered tge wrong things? We had calamari, chicken, miso fish cakes, mushroom aracini balls and the beer battered chips. Seemed like a good variety. A bit disappointed. This restaurant changed hands so many times over the last decade, so i hope this is not the trend again. It is great to live locally and be able to pop over the road."

"Decided to have a relaxed Sunday lunch here, were shown to a nice window table. We decided on the set menu of a main course, dessert and glass of wine for $25.00 our very perky waitress was so busy being perky she forgot to give our order to the chef! After a very long wait we got our mains I ordered a salad and got a bowl of chopped iceberg, spinach and a bit of cucumber with a tiny smatter of slivered almonds, mostly untouched by any dressing, I asked for some dressing and was given a small bowl of heavy garlic commercial tasting oil. Not good. My husband ordered the delicious sounding roll shaved ham off the bone etc. what he got was a sad little excuse of a main meal. The wine was plain and ordinary. We decided to leave before we had dessert and after a "discussion" were not charged for the " mains". Fair enough, but what we had wanted was a nice relaxing Sunday meal in a presentable hipster cafe. Not to spend 40 mins waiting for chopped lettuce!I really would not recommend this place."

"We booked a business dinner at Toro Bravo for 12 people. The restaurant itself is well laid out and clean. We arrived a little late for our booking but it was no issue for the staff and they were happy to accommodate our needs.As we had a large group of people we opted to do share plate dining in true tapas style. We ordered from the normal menu rather than going for the banquet option as there were a few dishes not included in the banquet that we wanted to try.The food was quick to arrive after ordering and the quantities were perfect for sharing around - everyone got to try a bit of everything. The food itself was delicious and I couldn't pick out anything that we didn't like. We ordered Lamb & Haloumi Skewers, Beef meatballs, Spanish style potatoes, beans, Crumbed Calamari, Salmon, Chorizo and Potato Churros. The Churro's were very interesting as your mind is expecting them to be sweet but they were savoury potato based with salt and mayo.The service was very attentive and we did not go with empty plates or glasses at any stage of the night. We will definitely return again."
