We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the wine selection was top-notch. We loved everything about it and plan to return in the future. View all feedback.
What Ruben Tromp doesn't like about Toro Bravo:
I booked this restaurant on Easter Saturday for my family. We orderd 3 tapas and 4 paella. The tapas are good and tasty. But the paella is not dry enough and very oily. We have 7 people but can only finish 2 and a half plates of paella because the paella is too oily. The paella is very poor. View all feedback.
Dined at Toro with a groupReally nice staff, great happy hoursangria and cocktails were generous.
Went here with the boyfriend on a Thursday and tried out their Paella Special (2 paellas and jug of sangria for $45).
Such a disappointment !!! Had the chateaubriand steak for two and the meat, though tender, smelt and tasted horrible.
I made a reservation for three friends and when we arrived, we had to flag down a staff member to seat us. We were given the choice of sitting in front of the kitchen or in a full corner. We chose an outside table, but the restaurant lacked atmosphere. The sangria, touted as the best in town, was mostly ice and the dishes were mostly deep fried. The service was below average. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
Paella = great. Sangria was really poor. They give you a glass full of ice, and a carafe full of ice. Tasted like weak cordial. Pretty bizzare considering they have a sign outside ' best sangria in town'.
