"Recommended by our hotel, three of us at the early seats at this place, away from the old town, but only 10 minutes to walk from our hotel. we arrived at 7:30 a.m. and were the second party sitting, but within 10 minutes the entire place was full and dizzy with activity. our friendly and spunky waiter, paul, (can be the name, pablo was hurried yet very friendly. we started with the plentiful platter of the charcuterie, consisting of thin cut local meat including ham de bayonne, salami and chorizo as well as some local pate of pork. for entrées enjoyed two of us the entrécore (thinsteak,) who came with fries and a bit salat and a person got the pan-fried fish that was delicious. of course the meal came with mouthwatering French brot. a cheap and yet delicious bottle red wine from st. emilion was a great welcome. we were too full of dessert, but the decisions looked appetit. if they are looking for a really local place, this is a good choice."

"Is good but very badly served for the price. 21€ for 50 g of cornets, 5 g of chorizo and 100 g of potatoes. Even the good atmosphere does not change. It's a whisper. The encornet, this morning is 20€ at rungis. If you have money to lose go. Or run to Dantxaria. The same thing x 4 for 11€."

"Tiene la terraza en el paseo marítimo, frente al mar. El interior del bar es muy auténtico, merece la pena una ojeada. Pedimos una ensalada española, que traía chorizo de Pamplona, aceptable; unos espaguetis con carne, bastante buenos; unos pimientos del piquillo rellenos de bacalao, buenos; y una andouillette, una especie de morcilla hecha con tripas de cerdo. A mí me encanta la casquería pero esto despedía un olor fuerte y bastante desagradable, echándole toda la salsa de mostaza conseguí comérmelo, pero no me gustó. Seguramente sea así, no digo que no estuviera bien preparado. El servicio, en todo momento, fue muy amable."

"Ive had 2 birthday meals here, and I hope to have more. Genuinely exceptional cooking of top quality ingredients. Simple presentation and cooking but with top quality technique. Loved the fois gras and the duck, as did my (then) 2 .5 year old son who ate a whole leg of confit, much to the good humour of the lovely staff. We love this place and hope to return either this summer or next."

"If you're just looking for a quick lunch stop sandwiches, omelettes, quiches etc) with a glass of wine, then this place is fine. It's not the most picturesque end of the street, but then it's reflected in the price €5-10 for sandwich, omelette etc). Absolutely...fine for a quick bite."
