"My mom and I shared the Chorizo burrito. It was not as flavorful as I was expecting. It was lacking in taste. Was not impressed with the hash browns much either. The fruit was ripe and yummy. The portion of the burrito is plentiful. As Black Bear is known for their serving sizes the burrito and plate as a whole did not fall short there. The did serve the burrito already split on 2 plates for us to share and I certainly appreciate that consideration. The service was decent. Pet friendly."

"Hostess didn't know how to confirm reservation told me the system was broken then said the restaurant was under new mgmt and they didn't tell her anything . That was after she told me it would be a 40 minute wait and I was surrounded by empty tables. The manager finally came had us seated and our server was terrific! I stopped another young lady on the way out and told her that I wanted to confirm my reservation was confirmed with open table and she saw it immediately and took care of it. Hostess should be trained or let go. She probably was just ready to leave and had to stay because of the 3 employees that came in all together late."

"La provence is by far one of the best French restaurants I have visited and enjoyed. the employees are energetic, friendly and patient when they order. they ask if they enjoy the food or if there is something else they need, so that they can visit. the decor is cozy and gives a French hut atmosphere with its dark oak interior and wide open windows. they also have heating outside for those who want to feel cold in a more open space. In addition, they have a small bakery on the one side of the restaurant and the kitchen on the other side, so that experience better. but of course the best part of the la provence is eating. the menu itself is very easy to read, and everything looks tempting. the 3 meal times I ordered were: 1. the special crumb of the day consisting of strawberry, bannanas and musella.2 the monte cristo, which has 3 different types of cheese with ham between 2 slices French toast. it comes with a bein and jam as well. I chose the potato salad for this meal.3 the day breaker, the speck, hashbrowns, eggs that cooked according to their preferences, and a next dish of their choice. all in all it was a great meal, and the drinks were absolutely delicious. even though they have a long waiting time for weeks and afternoon visits. I would recommend early on the day to get 10 o'clock -12 o'clock to get the best service and not wait so long. I hope this review was helpful and that they now know a little more about the la provence. bon appétit!"

"Myself and coworkers have been eating here almost weekly for years. My favorites are the shrimp nachos and shrimp mulita. The food is great, and the owners are friendly, attentive and kind. They are open almost everyday if they happen to be closed on a scheduled day?, it’s likely due to a family emergency or sickness. I highly recommend giving them a try!!!"

"Fish taco was amazing, bit too spicy tho. I would get the spicy sauce on the side. Shredded Pork and chicken meat itself was a bit dry but nothing some extra sauce didn’t fix. Loved the loaded amount of toppings inside the tacos. Cow tongue meat was actually delish. Beans and rice bowl was pretty good, but missing some flavors. Avocado quac dip and salsa was a hit with the chips. Def recommend"
