"Food, food choices, and service are all excellent. Servers are friendly and capable. There are essentially six ways egg dishes prepared served: Skillets, which layer eggs on top of other ingredients; scrambles, which combine eggs with all the other ingredients; omelets, which fold eggs around the other ingredients; benedicts, which serve poached eggs over other ingredients on either an English muffin or a bisquit; traditional, which is two cage free eggs served sunny side up, over easy, or as an omelet with sides of toast, potatoes and your choice of meat/meatless bacon or sausage (pork bacon or ham), turkey, chicken, impossible, etc.; or build your own skillet or omelet. Choices abound for every vegetable and a variety of cheeses in addition to the meats. And all of this is on just one side of the menu. The second side includes pancakes, french toast, sandwiches, avocado toasts, and a la carte sides. There is something for everyone at Egg Harbor. One improvement to the decor/atmosphere would be to replace the worn, spill-stained carpet with wood flooring."

"Food was good, menu changed alot. As locals we get used to items, and several favs are no longer available. Iceberg wedge, lobster risotto, both gone????. It was unusually warm in there also. Service was terrific, just warm and menu changes are big disappointments."

"If you like to be ignored this is the place for you! I walked in about 6:45 PM and just needed a little something maybe a muffin or a bagel and a coffee. So I started to look at the pastries to see what looked good and the woman behind the cash register looked at me and then walked away. No big deal I wasn't ready yet. Then I headed to the register and waited for five minutes and no one came from behind the food prep wall. Then another woman walked from the back area into the food prep area and looked at me for a moment and I thought well surely she's going to come over. No such luck! Not even an acknowledgment. At that point I decided I didn't have any more time because I had to be somewhere, so I turned on my heels and left. Very disappointing. I understand that it's difficult to maintain staff levels in retail establishments, but there were three staff people present that I could see. I also understand that it's not the most fun job in the world to work as a food prep person or a cashier or server. But if you're there I think you need to make the best of things and actually have a little bit of hospitality. I don't even care if you don't smile at me and say nice things... Just take my order. Please."
