"My wife and I were looking for a simple and casual meal. Mac's on Hertel fit this well. We were promptly seated and greeted by our server. It has a Sports Bar atmosphere with numerous TVs on the walls. There are two levels and a patio. We started out with a grilled peach flatbread. It had grilled peaches, goat cheese, prosciutto, arugula and was drizzled with honey. We both found this to be very good. I chose the strawberry chicken salad. It looked good but overall I was disappointed with it. The chicken had little flavor other than the charred flavor from where it got black on the grill. The dressing, a strawberry vinaigrette was terrible and had no flavor. I had my wife sample it and she agreed. My wife chose the beef on weck and fries. She said the fries appeared to be fresh cut and the beef was very good. I tried both and liked them as well. Service was good and of the items we ordered were very good. I may give them another try if in the area but will avoid the salad."
