"You know a place is good when it is busy on a Monday evening. We went about 7pm and it was pleasantly full. Everything was seemless. We were seated quickly, menus given, drinks order taken, food order taken etc in a timely way. We shared poppadums and a chutney tray, then I had a chicken karahi and my partner had a chicken tikka masala with pilau rice. We ordered a garlic naan each (no sharing that delicious goodness! and a large glass of rose and a pint of beer and it all came to under £50. It was all fresh and full of flavour, in my karahi I could taste the ginger in it afterwards. The chicken was moist and tender, the rice fluffy and separated, breads fluffy and perfectly cooked. My partners tikka masala wasn't too sweet, and had a fresh coconut flavour to it. Highly recommend this gem that a local friend told me about a while ago and only had the good fortune to visit now. We will be back."

"This is a true hidden gem of a cafe. The owner and her team go above and beyond to welcome us every time we visit. We like it that much that we come every single week! The food is delicious and in my opinion they do the best cooked breakfast in the area. Always attentive to our needs, we feel looked after and valued and that is becoming so difficult to find these days. I highly recommend you pop in and see for yourself as we love the place."

"Visited on Sunday morning, was busy but was seated quickly enough- sat on a table outside overlooking watergate street. I had the blueberry pancakes and partner went for the Flowercup breakfast. Both looked and tasted amazing but the pancakes were next level fluffy and tasted so good! Can see why there was a queue forming outside. First time here but certainly won’t be the last."

"A refreshingly different culinary experience. the choice on the buffet table would provide an excellent meal, but then start to come the meat! the choice of cuts of bark, pork and lamb, to die the table carved. so well cooked and seasoned. even if you think you can't eat another meat cut, and it wouldn't be rude to refuse!"

"My daughter wanted to go to a Wagamama as she’s a teenager and her friends had hyped it up. Being an adult, and was aware it was a ‘chain’ restaurant so didn’t have high hopes. We were seated then by a lovely female staff member who then wrote on our menu the name of the person who would be our ‘ server’ during our meal (i might be old be old fashioned but im sure we never used to call staff members ‘servers’"
