"Every time they go to brenda, they are treated as family. eating was amazing, the service was friendly, and they cared for our food allergies. Do not forget to bring some baked were home! (get the gf peanut butter cookies)"

"The food here was delicious. We got penang curry, pad thai and coconut chicken soup. All of those dishes tasted authentic thai and were very reasonably priced. The fried rice was a bit bland. Spring rolls were crispy and hot. Be prepared to wait for a bit... also you have to go to the counter to order! There is a sign there, but they don't tell you that when you walk in and are sat down, so we sat around for a few minutes until we saw the sign! ????"

"Wonderful, memorable experience at The Prune. We were a group of 5, and every single dish was delicious and beautifully presented across the board. Flavors were outstanding, from the duck confit to the beef tartare and the salt cod croquette, each dish was well composed and balanced to let the ingredients shine. The crème caramel dessert was truly one of the best desserts I've had in recent memory the range of flavors (caramel with, unexpectedly, citrus and the differences in textures (caramel popcorn on top! combined to make for the perfect plated dessert to end the meal.The service was also exceptional. Our waitress, Rebecca, was very attentive and allowed us to have a leisurely meal at our own pace, which we always very much appreciate when getting together with friends and enjoying one another's company. The staff were always quick to ensure our wine and water glasses were topped off, and were very helpful with decanting a 2007 bottle that we brought for ourselves (for a corkage fee to enjoy at the end of the meal.Highly recommend The Prune for anyone looking for an all around exceptional meal!"

"Our favourite ice cream spot. Their ice cream is so amazing and can’t even be compared to other soft ice creams available. Their dipped cones are great and so are their sundaes. I’m a huge fan of the strawberry sundaes when amazing home made strawberry sauce. But nothing on their menu is a bad idea.A must if you’re in Stratford, rain or shine."

"The pre-theatre crowd flocks to this dining establishment for two reasons - it's close to the Avon Theatre and the food and service are great! The "farm to table" mandate can however, result in some odd combinations - my fettucine with turkey sausage was good, but lacked a flavour "punch" that a different kind of sausage might have brought to the dish. The bruschetta starter was well balanced with tomato, garlic and cheese and plenty to divide between two. My husband enjoyed his beet salad and tilapia special."

"Salad was good and the beer selection was fine. But the Thai Noodles were basically fettuccine Alfredo with a lime coconut twist. Not terrible but not great. Portions were good. The curry was so-so since the chicken dry and lacked sauce. Good place for a drink on the patio out front on the street."

"Way too expensive for what we got. Ordered vegetarian pot pie because it was only vegetarian option besides just getting a started or salad which isnt really a great choice when wanting a meal. Pot pie sounded good but when got it it tasted more like getting just a can of soup at a grocery store. The coffee was mediocre ... husband ordered a chicken dinner.. he said chicken was dry and not great. I got side order of garlic beans. Could not taste the garlic at all... only had a slight garlic smell but no taste. They didn't even remove the stems from the beans so had to pick every individual one off or else have a very unpleasant chew to it. The beans themselves were also very chewy and not good. Neither of us finished our plates... we wanted a refund since it was over $50 for poor quality meals.. wasnt busy in their either . was only us and 1 other couple there, was on valentines. .. we didn't ask for it because we hate to cause a fuss.. but we both agree that we will not be spending money here again. Was a waste. Seems like quality of this place has really gone down hill. We used to come here fairly often for good number or years,,, seems like after covid it has really flopped... sorry about the nasty review but really just being honest..Vegetarian options: there used to be lots of vegetarian options such as the terriyaki stir fry and salad choices but they have removed these options from the menu.. leaving only garden salad and vegetarian pot pie as choices... the stir fry and the perogies used to be the reason we would come there but now is not even worth it"
