"Nestled in the middle of the 20th arrondissement, this restaurant offers a quiet terrace, almost without a car. under the trees, near a small park, it is an excellent local restaurant with friendly staff and a fair kitchen. don't expect an elaborate kitchen but it's much better than the other local restaurants in the neighborhood. we had dinner recently and we enjoyed it very much. the selection of wines is also very interesting, with wine with affordable glass."

"It makes its money feeding the populace at lunchtime taking all the usual meal vouchers the French may provide in their employment package. I've eaten in many over the years I worked and travelled in France. There are rarely bad ones and sometimes good ones. I was here in the evening and the cooking would have placed this in the good category. It is bare stone with every joint or crack filled with rendering, plenty of wood and bistro style furniture. The ceiling is very high being a converted outhouse. In the evening - and it was a Friday - it was virtually empty, just two other diners and me and a few locals around the corner at the bar. I ordered the home made foie gras followed by kidneys in Madeira sauce. The foie gras was heavy on tarragon making it different and the kidneys well cooked though the sauce was a tad too runny. There was bread to mop it up. I had no intention of having a desert but the two ladies had ordered and theirs tempted me. They are home made and the Millefeuille I chose had crisp pastry any patissier would die for. I like them filled with cream but this was filled with creme patissiere and the raspberry spread was kept to glaze the top rather than infused everywhere. The pastry saved the day. Prices were the lower side of reasonable. I had the house red wine in a carafe which was passable. I suspect that the lady doing the waiting, front of house, working the bar and taking payment was Edward's spouse. She had done it all before and did it all again. I could imagine her ruling a full house with matronly discipline and efficiency. Car parking is in a public area, spacious, and only a minute from the restaurant."

"Great restaurant with beautiful view and beautiful location. that manu is not huge, but something for everyone and eating is highest quality. we were several times. the only disappointment today was the service, but only one of the waiters who tried to smile. the others had a good day fortunately!"
