"Montreuil sur mer is really worth a visit, the hotel/restaurant is set in a beautiful old building, with friendly staff, clean rooms and public parking is not a problem (though you can park at the hotel itself), though bear in mind that the main square host a market every Saturday so try and park elsewhere the previous evening. The restaurant is well managed and food is first class, the bar area is a nice setting to relax too. Would definitely recommend."

"Repas du midi dans cette pizzeria d'apparence sympathique. Lorsque nous y sommes entrés, les deux personnes présentes semblaient être étonnées de nous voir. On nous à dit séchement "y a des petites tables là bas" quand on a dit qu'on voulait déjeuner pour deux personnes. Nous avons pris deux pizzas, pas trop mauvaises si l'on aime les pâtes industrielles de chez Promocash ou Métro (nous savons de quoi nous parlons, nous sommes dans le métier)À la fin du repas, lorsque nous étions en train de regarder les décos de Noël encore présentes en plein moi d'avril, la dame nous indique qu'elle n'accepte pas les tickets restaurant, alors même que la vitrine mentionne "ticket resto, chèque déjeuner" etc... Dommage pour l'accueil et les plats, le resto est pourtant bien situé. Pas étonnant que nous n'ayons été que deux à manger ce jour là..."

"We have eaten in a few restaurants in Boulogne and tried this one as it was market day and the square was difficult to get to so we headed for the old town. There is a good a la carte menu but we went for the 2 set menus. Mine at 15 euros was fantastic value for moulles marineres, rare steak with Roquefort sauce and tarte au pommes. The set fish menu at 18 euros was equally as good. We were there quite early as we were going on the the Channel Tunnel so it was quite quiet but the service was good although I could imagine it slowing down if it got busy. It was good food at a good price in a pleasant location (and a lot cheaper than restaurants in the main town)"
