"The waitress Stacey was pleasant at first, even though she gave a 2 minute speech about why she couldn't give a slice of bread instead of just asking the chef. When it was time to pay the bill she asked how much change do you want me to give you back WTH. How about bring the customer ALL their change and wait to see what they give you. There were 2 of usI covered the tip for both of us. As we were walking out Stacey saw the need to say excuse me excuse me were you not happy with the service we replied did we say that. Stacey responded you didn't leave a tip. I found this so unprofessional VERY RUDE! Stacey was standing in the middle of the floor. TIP for Stacey get a NEW JOB and stay out of Customer Service."

"Detroit has been my home for over 50 years, but I had never eaten at Louisiana Gumbo. So, naturally I was excited when I paid my first visit to their Gratiot location on Tuesday 4/19/23.I decided to order the shrimp gumbo. What I received was NOT gumbo. It was more like celery onion soup, with overcooked shrimp.Even before I tasted it I could tell it was not going to be good, because it didn't even look like gumbo. And the flavor?...I don't know, it just wasn't hitting.Perhaps I went on a bad day I don't know, but I don't think I'll be going back. In fact, I know I won't. Too many great places to eat in The D.But please, try Louisiana Gumbo for yourself. Maybe your experience will be better than mine."

"By this being a franchise i cant down the business as a whole but if you do decide to eat here please dont go to the one on mack and alter rd...I clearly let the guy at the front know that I was a first time customer , so you would think they would try their best to make sure I had a pleasurable experience but it was awful...the chicken was old and tasted like it was just dunked in grease and reheated but the worst part was my box was filled with grease ..there was no paper or foil in the tray to kinda catch the grease the chicken was just thrown into my container...I wish I took pics because it was enough grease in my box to fill a small jar and I promise this is no exaggeration...then to top it off they tied my can pop up in the bag with my food and the can had piles of grease on it from all the grease that leaked from the container into the bag...also when I first walked in others were complaining about the wait and getting the wrong order which should've made me exit then , but I believe in giving every place a fair chance and using my own judgement...this place is awful!!"
