"My family group of 9 enjoyed a delicious Mothers Day lunch at the Concordia Club today. The price of $35 per person was quite reasonable considering the quality and selection of food served. There was a breakfast station for those wishing traditional bacon, sausage and egg choices. The salad choices included garden salad, German Potato salad, cole slaw and macaroni salad. There was fresh shrimp as well as muscles. A selection of rolls as well. Hot food items included mixed vegetables, mashed potatoes, red cabbage, schnitzel, roast beef and chicken. The dessert choices were endless and all were delicious. However, the best part of the experience was the the presence of Miss Concordia. She greeted each visitor at the door and presented a lovely single flower to each mother. During the meal, she went from table to table and took a photo of each child with his/her mother. These were then printed off in colour and children were allowed to go to a special activity table set up in the lobby to colour the front of the paper card and add stickers and glitter. Wow! An amazing keepsake and it kept little ones busy who otherwise might have gotten restless. We are planning on coming back again next year for Mothers Day."

"Decided to get fish and chips on Saturday night. I checked tripadvisor for reviews and found King Fish and Chips. We called in an order and went and picked it up. The couple who owns the restaurant were so friendly and helpful. The food was very good and big portions for the price. We will definitely return."

"We live in the Forest Heights area of Kitchener and often stop at the Fish Hut for take out fish and chips. The service is always friendly and efficient and the food is tasty. We were having adults and children for dinner on...Good Friday and decided to pre-order fish and chips to make the meal planning easy. Since Good Friday is their busiest day of the year, they have a few special policies for Good Friday: no eat in service...only take out serving only cod, haddock and halibut (no whitefish or shrimp) gravy and cole slaw are available but not onion rings you can pre-order ...we did and our order of family packs of fish and chips large gravy was ready exactly at as noted on our receipt"

"Food was terrible but the server was great. Prettty sure everything was microwaved. Made a reservation and we were sat beside a group of 20 (6 year olds hockey team) couldn’t hear a thing anyone at our table was saying. Not like the restaurant was full, could have sat us anywhere else in the restaurant."

"Five of us were in town visiting a sixth person for a funeral. After a long day of feeling sad and remembering, we were too pooped to cook. So we looked on line for something decent and quick. Southern Ontario Smoked BBQ caught our eye. The web site had a bit too much information, so I called and asked what would be a good meal for six. The very helpful person on the phone made some good recommendations, and advised honestly about getting the fries for take away (don't). I asked when the $116 order would be ready. The person on the phone said, "5 minutes." I laughed and asked if they could give us fifteen. The food we got was incredible! I have never (never) had wings that good in my life and the ribs were out of this world. The cole slaw - one of my benchmarks to tell me if a kitchen knows what it's doing - was exceptional and the salad was nice and fresh. Really a great meal. Would not hesitate to get this food again."
