"In previous travels we have eaten at Corky's in Memphis. This franchise wasn't quite up to the Memphis Corky's standard. The meat in the half rack of ribs was dry and not as tender as most barbecue joints. The pulled pork was very good."

"Harvest Rd. Is a true example of farm to table as it is literally situated on Michells farm where they get most of their fresh ingredients from. The amazingly flavourful beef and the vegetables are from the surrounding five hundred acres that is Michells farm. Even the food wraps, trays and utensils are composted on site and reintroduced into the fields of the farm via their huge composting operation just down the road. The burgers we had were one of the best I’ve eaten, and believe me, I’ve eaten a lot of burgers. The fries were thick and hand pulled; Deep fried to perfection. The coleslaw was fresh and refreshing. Chatting with the owners, Jenni and Brendan was fantastic, hearing their story and seeing their pride in what they do really made the whole meal an experience. If you care about where your food comes from, care about sustainability and love great food, visit Harvest Rd Grill."

"It's set up as a fast food take-out. But honestly: It's also nice to sit and dine there. And chat with the owner, e.g.. It has 2 doors: One from St. Thomas Rd. and one from Moore's Pl.. Choose whichever you prefer. They are producing among the best Fish&Chips in all of GB. Not kidding. The cook has all the experience anyone can have concerning fish, obviously. This is worth mentioning and something to write home about. And then, in all the rising prices and inflation mayhem, it's not even expensive. Fish (be it cod bites, which are a dish of its own, be it cod or haddock) is fried to the very point of neither being mushy nor dry nor unbaked, just 100% perfect and then in this crispy, crunchy crust with so much flavour of its own. The fish itself is very fresh and has more flavour than I expected, very nutty, lovely. Chips are thick Flamish style and live off a very crispy exterior and soft interior with very potatoey aroma. I think, they're made Belgian style with 2 different frying processes at different temperatures. Lavish process, but the result is worth it. They have some of the rarest lemonades to choose from, as well. Something to contemplate instead of beer. I do, every time. Worth it. Caveat: Extremely popular spot, waiting times can be a bit longer. And: Dining in, you have to live with a stream of clients going through. Still: Hungry? In the area? This is the place to go. Outrageous value for money. Recommendation to the owner: Get some real vinegar in addition to the sauce you offer. That is the expectation when you come to GB. Yes, almost everywhere else, vinegar on chips is considered yuck. Tell someone from the Mediterranean that they should put vinegar on their French Fries: You risk to be fried, yourself. But in Britain, this just has to be. I love it."

"Stopped by today with my son who is a very picky eater but does love chicken and I was blown away by everything we ordered. I got the Cajun love sandwich, it was the best thing I have eaten in a really long time! My son had the tenders and he loved them, personally I didn’t like so much batter but I took some of it off and the chicken itself tasted great. The staff was very friends and eager to help. The environment was cute with local art up, it was loud enough in there I could let my son watch a show on my phone and it not bother anyone but also not so aloud I couldn’t have a conversation with my friend. Will definitely come back! One more note- the sauces are wonderful but don’t expect them to taste like the regular ones you buy at the store. The ranch has a very different flavor but I loved it."

"Stopped by here after visiting the Butchart Gardens. The food was so tasty. This may have been the best pulled pork sandwich I ever had. It was savoury and full of flavour."
